Not impressed with Rod’s poor attitude and lousy service. I was referred to Rod by a neighbour in my condo and reached out to have 2 bathrooms covered in wallpaper. He visited my suite, he provided a quote and went over the amount of wallpaper required. The following week we agreed on a time to get the walls ready prior to the wallpaper install and he showed up over an hour late. He apparently couldn’t find his keys. The wallpaper I ordered arrived and I contacted Rod to set a date to complete the job. He indicated he had started another job and didn’t want to have to get his tools from the other site, therefore I had to wait until he was finished. Despite being disappointed as all hardware and mirrors had already been removed from my bathrooms, we agreed on a day to finish the job. In the meantime, I called another pro to see if he could get the job done for me sooner. After sending photos of my bathroom and discussing the project, it was determined the amount of wallpaper purchased may not be enough for one bathroom let alone two and the prep work he had completed was inadequate. I called Rod to ask him about this and he became defensive, was rude and basically told me to hire someone else. I instantly knew I didn’t want to deal with someone so unprofessional and wrong on so many fronts, and despite having nobody lined up to complete the install I was happy to cut ties.

After speaking with a couple companies, I decided to go with Skyscapes to cover my terrace. Dave visited my home on short notice and showed me samples of various options. I quickly chose the 12x24 Ipe wood tiles over the various composite options. I was quite anxious to have this project completed as soon as possible and Dave did his best to accommodate. Blair showed up to do the install and despite the concrete pavers being uneven, he did his best to make things level. After spending some time on the terrace I felt the level issue could be improved and contacted Dave to see if he could inspect the installation. He came to see me within a couple days and made adjustments to make things even better. So at this point I am satisfied that they did the best they could to make me happy. The terrace looks great and Skyscapes will be coming back early next year to provide some complimentary maintenance to make sure the Ipe wood stays in tip top shape. I would definitely recommend the 12x24 Ipe tiles and Skyscapes to anyone looking to warm up their outdoor space.

This company will do whatever they can to mislead and ding you with ridiculous fees and make your bill as high as possible. On my bill there was a $120 admin fee, a fuel surcharge on top of their travel time which was far greater than what I expected, $95 for a cardboard TV box and insane packing fees. My original estimate provided by Stephanie meant nothing as I ended up selling all my furniture and no longer required storage. Despite doing this, my bill was the same as the original estimate even though I only had pre packaged boxes and a desk. When I attempted to call the company to discuss my bill, Margaret told me that I had signed and too bad. It is so frustrating that companies like Hudson would take advantage and gauge a customer that had previously used them two times and treat them like dirt. I will never use this company again and suggest anyone considering using them look elsewhere.

I found this company via a Google search and called them to arrange an in home consultation. Within 3 hours Mirza arrived at my home with multiple samples to choose from. Although I usually would get a couple of quotes, I felt comfortable moving forward with Maple Carpet Care and indicated how a quick installation was required. Within 48 hours the runner was installed by Mike who did a great job. I would recommend Maple Carpet Care without hesitation. Mirza was a pleasure to deal with and delivered without any issues whatsoever.
