Excellent, excellent, excellent. Dial one came recommended by friends and I checked home stars. Price is good, but Aiman takes service and value to another level and takes the time to explain what he's doing, made sure one of the returns which was missed by the previous company was cleaned. They cleaned out my HVAC and dryer vent. Before and after pics were astonishing. Lemony scent is nice and air just feels cleaner. Highly recommend and would use again!

Don't bother searching around, just call Cutting Edge. Robert and team are top notch. I've dealt with many different types of crews for different jobs, but he and his team are superior and you can't be disappointed. They pride themselves on quality, workmanship, attitude, but above all they believe in the strength of their reputation and referrals over making quick dollars. I went on the roof and watched them several times to make sure they weren't cutting corners, but they instead showed me the little things they were doing like the way they were cutting the shingles, getting under siding, new flashing, sealing trough leaves, etc. They installed more vents, a ridge vent, sealed up the leaky troughs and did a great job on cleaning up at no extra cost. Excellent value and will recommend to all friends and family. Only downside: they are busy and may take some time to get to your roof, but it's worth wait for the peace of mind. Besides being busy means they are doing something right and not sacrificing on quality just to do more jobs. I wish I could rate them 11 out of 10.

Excellent service, would highly recommend. They came on time and inspected. He said it looked like R25 and then after further looking he found the insulation sticker from the original builder which said R28. He also noticed i was missing soffit vents (which i agreed because i thought it was strange so he installed new channels and topped up the insulation. Now it looks like i have over 2ft high of insullation in the attic. We noticed a dramatic difference in the house by the end of the day. The second floor used to be so hot in the summer despite full ac and so cold in the winter. Now the upstairs is a nice moderate temp in all seasons and consistent throughout the house. Gas and hydro bills went down a little too. This investment is paying itself off!! Thanks zenic!!!

Don't call anyone else! Steve is simply the most friendliest and trustworthy contractor I've ever had the pleasure of working with and met. He came and performed an emergency courteous visit at no charge. Since I needed a new door I bought it from him too. At the price he gave (which others thought was higher) he replaced the door, track, springs ... essentially the whole thing which took most of the day. He was flexible and trustworthy and will highly recommend him to anyone!! Thanks Steve!!

I called several companies based on homestars reviews and was pleasantly surprised by Alan Brookes. He took the time to explain the quote, what they would do, and their guarantee that every square inch of grass will be watered. He also explained how the pipes and products they use are different. Pricing was fair and in line with others. Their staff answers the phones and I was able to pay conveniently as well. They also coordinated with the landscaping company I was using to redo the patio and re-sod my dead lawn. It all appears to be a good job and I now have a lot comfort that my newly reseeded lawn will be watered very well next summer. Highly recommended.

I called around a few landscapers to get quotes based on high homestars reviews and all ended up quoting very similar in price. Paul however seemed just a little more trustworthy than others (standing by his company by using his name as the company name also helped ease my conscience). Paul was very flexible in timing and got to starting my work earlier than promised. It was a difficult time for me since I also had a 2 week vacation planned that was fast approaching. I ended up having to fly on vacation while the job wasn't finished but he completed it while I was away, he coordinated with the sprinkler company I contracted separately, he set the timers and everything and I came home to a beautiful new backyard patio and fresh green watered. Thanks Paul!

John Whitehead and his crew are fantastic guys and did a great job on building my deck in North York. It's not a huge deck but is on two levels/storeys joined by stairs. John's quote was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. John was very responsive to my request for a quote and came to my house at times that were convenient for me. His quote was very detailed and outlined the measurements, type of material everywhere (from PT structure, cedar skirting and rails, composite deck boards, etc.) Most of the other quotes did not go into that level of detail. The quote also came with diagrams along with measurements so there were no surprises - a nice touch especially considering no one else's quote provided me with that level of information and detail. Lastly, when John himself came by, each time he was super respectful to me, my home (taking off his shoes when entering) and family. He takes the time, even during the quote process to explain exactly what they were going to, that the grass was likely to get damaged, the garbage and dirt for first while, etc so there were absolutely no surprises when they started to the end. His crew came in the mornings and left late in the afternoons. I never once needed to be home, although I would come home from work earlier just to watch the construction of my new deck. I would highly recommend John Whitehead and his skilled carpenters anytime to anyone. The finishing touches are excellent and despite the very small premium compared to other quotes, you get complete ease of mind, a responsive contractor, detailed quote and backed by a quality brand parent company (Hickory Dickory deck) and warranty. Why would you consider choosing someone else? Just give John a call and you will see.

Just moved into a renovated house and home inspector missed a major roof leak problem, only found after some heavy wind and rain storms and found leaking in one of the bedrooms. Mr Roof repair responded very quick after I emailed them through Homestars.com and gave me a quote. I don't like the estimate fee but in the ended decided to go with them anyway since their quote was about in the middle of the 4 or 5 quotes I received. I was skeptical as another friend used them for a flat roof repair and that didn't go so well, so I watched JP myself. Turns out my skepticism was unwarranted. JP explained to me this roofing industry is very a shady business in Canada, and that's he's worked for several different companies in the past, but since he's been working for Mr. Roof repair he's never had a call back and I honestly believe the work he does is top notch! They take pictures of the issues before during and after which is a nice touch, but since I was home I didn't need it. The damage was a lot worse than JP originally expected and took him 2 hours more than he had planned. I think he did a great a job and took the extra steps in making sure the dormer like structure wouldn't be leaking again. the rafters were rotted out so he laminated additional 2x6s and 2x8s which I had laying around to help repair the water damage. the ice and water shield is also nice added security, and then the extra caulking I asked him to do to make sure the leak wasn't happening again was the final nice touch. Overall I would certainly recommend Mr. Roof Repair to my friends and family - in fact I would suggest you ask for JP since he was very professional, knowledgeable and seemed very trustworthy in the few hours I got to know him and I really liked that he took the extra steps - at least it made it seem like he did care about the quality of his work and about my home.

Or was very courteous and professional and explained everything he was doing. It's a little nerve racking watching someone just start drilling holes and makes noises and using a vacuum and compressed air when you don't understand. Or explained each step he was doing and explained the do's and tips to keeping the air quality in my new home as high as I desired. Thanks for the great job and discount air filters!!

Anil and his team were courteous, professional and FAST. They moved 2 fair sized condos from downtown to uptown AND did a pickup of a piano in Markham in 6.5 hours (including a break for lunch)! Moving was stress free with their help and ultra smooth with no waiting. They didn't just sit on the job and run the clock. Anil knows how to keep his guys moving and there was no slacking off like other movers. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends when they move next month!

Mike Jacobson and his team were great. Althought the crew were young guys they were very professional and courteous. They completed within the time they said and exactly on the budget.
