I saw Makhoul Mechanical installing an air conditioner at my neighbours, and after confirming they were satisfied with the install, i hired them to replace by dying ac unit. Moussa was extremely responsive with my initial inquiry, and provided options for the new unit. He was able to install the new ac within a day which i was grateful for since we were under COVID-19 conditions and a heat wave. He personally oversaw the install (including a system flush) and removal of the old unit, and kept everything neat and clean. I had a new unit up and ready in a couple of hours. I highly recommend Moussa and would hire him for my future HVAC needs.

One of the most unethical companies i have encountered. First of all they outsourced their work to another "sister" company so i was a little confused when a service tech came by from this other company . i requested a quote to have someone come in and look at fixing a humidifier that was leaking. The service tech came in and charged me $160 "Assessment charge " just to tell me what i already relayed to them when i reached out . I asked him to have his company give me a price for a new one, and come the next day to install. Another technician came by the next day and installed the humidifier and when i got the bill it had another "assessment charge" . I asked why i was charged again for an assessment. The technician said it was standard practice, and that i should call the company to dispute and get a refund . I called a number of times, and the last conversation was i was told that the manager would look into it and reverse the charge. To date i havent heard from them not have i got the refund. Will never do business with Boonstra or their "sister company again".
