Back in July, after poring over Homestar reviews, I called upon John to repair a pipe (and shut-off valve) and install a toilet at my mother’s home. He did a great job, so we called on him again. On December 9th, John installed the sink and faucet, toilet and shower controls that we had purchased for our main bathroom. I was delighted to discover that he added shut-off valves beneath the sink. Very happy with the work and will definitely have him back when the kitchen is updated.

Mr. Roof Repair found and repaired two areas on my mother's roof that had been damaged by wind and animals. They provided before and after photos and did a great job with the repair. Thanks Mr. Roof Repair!

In November 2016, Gitano replaced our roof (and all the plywood) and sistered one of the joists. The crew was great and left everything clean and well-swept. A couple of weeks later, I asked Lewis about one of the shingles which appeared to be raised*. He said that it would flatten out once it got warmer. And it did - perfectly. It’s been nearly two years and it looks as good as (*or better than) it did on Day 1. I would definitely recommend Gitano Roofing.

We’d pretty much decided on Century Aluminum after reading hundreds of reviews on Homestars, so after Gary provided a quote, we gave him the ‘go-ahead’. Gary told me up front that they might not be able to do the job until August or possibly even early September. It all depended on the weather. Well, the weather was very dry for weeks and Century Aluminum was able to move the job up to July 25th. Less than an hour after the job was completed, the rain suddenly came down in sheets. It POURED for over an hour and the new eavestroughs did their job beautifully. Thanks to the Century Aluminum team, and thanks to Homestars.

The Glenwood guys did a great job removing an old pear tree and cutting off a large branch from a butternut tree. They also removed a pile of existing branches. Clean-up afterwards was excellent.
