Gaz and another colleague installed fascia, soffit and window caps on my home after a stucco job at the end of the summer of 2017. The window caps were badly installed, and NONE of the newly capped windows open properly anymore. I contacted him about this and he immediately generated a series of excuses and refused to come back to fix them unless he has a job in my area (downtown Toronto). He began by blaming my "old" windows, and then proceeded to comfort me by saying that he actually didn’t charge me for the capping (in spite of it being CLEARLY written on the invoice). How any of these excuses support his refusal to assume responsibility is completely beyond me. This was 10 months ago and he still has not made a visit back to make things right after repeated text messages and phone calls. I am completely fed up and will have to get them adjusted by calling on another company. Absolutely terrible workmanship and service. I do not recommend this company and I encourage you to spend your money elsewhere.

Vince came by on very short notice to examine my backup up sewage drain. He was very thorough and clear about the work needed to be done. I did not use them at that time due to time contraints on my part, but I do recommend them and had a good experience. If possible ask for Vince when calling. He is very honest and knowledgable.

I had a very good experience with M.E. Contracting. Tomer was responsible for building a cedar gate and fence, as well as putting in new custom stairs for my basement entrance. All the work was done professionally and quickly. I had a few issues with the stairs, but they came by and remedied everything quickly. I would recommend them and use them again when I need to redo the deck.

Nico and his crew, particularly Slava, were a pleasure to work with. They waterproofed one side of my house and installed a sump pump. The job was quick and painless, and they were very clear about the work that needed to be done. Due to a scheduling conflict on my part, Nico even came to meet me at my office to sign the papers and finalize everything. I will be calling on them again to do the rest of my house. Highly recommended!

Three Bro Squirrels were very responsive and arrived a few hours after I called them, while most of the city was still reeling from the wind storm. Tony arrived with a colleague and inspected my flat roof, which had peeled over with the wind. He nailed the roof back down (as a temporary measure) at no charge, which I found very professional and courteous. He quoted me $2000 to put down a 100 sq ft roof ON TOP of the existing one. I found this expensive, but he was rushing me and threatening not to come back unless he had a deposit. I was nervous since rain was again expected later in the week and no other roofers seemed available, so I gave him it to him. He then became agressive, rude and totally unprofessional when I sought further information by phone later that afternoon. I was rushed, yelled at, and made to feel stupid and guilty for wasting their time. I subsequently cancelled and walked away from the deposit. It became the worst experience I have had with a renovation company. Totally outrageous.

I had a very good experience with Shendon and his crew. My old sewage drain was clogged and New Canadian Drain came, evaluated the problem, explained everything clearly to me and installed the replacement pipe the following business day. It was very professional and painless. The work was done in a day. Highly recommended. Ask for Shendon.

Honest service. My eavestroughs were overflowing. I was given exorbitant quotes (10x what I paid here) from other companies telling me I need to replace my eavestroughs immediately because they were not "up to code". I spoke with Ben from Armstrong and Nelson and he assured me everything was fine with them, they just need a proper cleaning of the downpipes. He came and had it done quickly and efficiently and left an invoice and warranty in my mailbox. Will definitely use them again and I highly recommend.
