S Harte from Brampton

I hired this company in the summer of 2015. We had interlock installed in the front and well as in the back. Daniel, whom I would assume is the sales person, seemed friendly. He explained the different stone options as well as pricing. I would say everything went downhill the first day the guys came to dig on the property. Not only did they damage my property, but my neighbour's also. In fairness, I was credited the price of a new garage door, plus my neighbour's gate was fixed. Fine. One day after the installation, my backyard patio began pooling with water. Daniel came back a few days later and said it wasn't an issue....and something about grading, which is irrelevant, since neither of my neighbours have this issue in their backyard. Shame on me for not insisting they fix this. Fast forward to the following summer (2016). After every rainfall, no matter how heavy or light, my backyard patio literally becomes submerged underwater..so much so, that flooding into my basement is a major concern at this point. I made COUNTLESS attempts last summer to reach out to Mark, each time being told by his secretary I assume, I would receive a call back. I never did. Fed up, I called Daniel who came back to the property sometime in September. My daughter showed him pictures of how flooded the back patio becomes whenever it rains, and his only solution seemed to be one that would cost me more money. In the past two weeks, I've tried to contact Mark almost a dozen times, not to mention an email that was sent last month (WITH PICTURES), and he still has not contacted me back. For such a "reputable" company, I am surprised that more wasn't done to try and remedy this issue earlier on. Truly disappointing.

I can't believe this company is still in business! Last February our 10 year old Maytag washer started giving us lots of problems, so upon looking online for an appliance repair company, I found these guys. Their website looked good, they had gleaming reviews (yeah...I know, I know), and we liked the fact that they could come out pretty quickly. Same deal as the other reviews, they tell you the $80 will be waived if you decide to have them do the job, etc. That $80 quickly turns into $280 before you know it, PLUS there was a part that was needed to fix the unit which cost another $300+. Well, the guy finally came back with the part and "fixed" the machine, only for it to fail on us literally right after he left. When we emailed Appliance Repair Guys, they told us that this was basically a new service call and that we would be charged another $80 bucks for an estimate....ARE YOU KIDDING? So we insisted that NO this was not a new issue and that the repair guy needed to come back to inspect his work. He concluded that there was something else wrong with the unit and so we basically told them that we would NOT be using their service to fix this "new" issue. We did not pay the $80 and they harassed us and sent us to collections. A few months later we ended u having to buy a new washer and dryer set, which I WISH we would have done to begin with. *sigh* Honestly, I also we would have done the proper research before calling these guys up, because they are seriously the worst! I can't understand how they are still in business. STAY AWAY!

We recently had a porch enclosure installed by Lumina Windows and Doors, and we are extremely pleased with how it turned out. Initially we reached out to about 3 or 4 companies and only 2 of them got back to us right away. We received a quote from a company from where we live in Brampton, but we chose not to sign because the price was just too high we felt, and we just were not comfortable moving forward for a couple other reasons. Alex gave us a great price, and we really just felt at ease with everything moving forward. Once the materials arrived from the manufacturer (about 4-5 weeks) Alex called to let us know everything was ready to be installed, giving us a date and a time. The installers showed up right on time (early even) and were very friendly. They started around 10am and were done a little after 2pm. I liked that they worked at a steady pace. They took their time and nothing was rushed. They were also really tidy and cleaned up once they were done. Alex stopped by just before completion (more or less finishing touches) and we went over the work that had been done. Overall we couldn’t be happier with how our enclosure turned out. It’s beautiful! We will be sure to recommend him to our friends and family.
