My experience with Wilkens Contracting was outstanding. From the quote with Ernie, who has clearly forgotten more about the quirks of Toronto's century homes than I will ever know, to the painless and speedy scheduling by David to the actual job done by Daniel, this is a first class team that have earned their stellar reputation. Daniel turned up on time and completed the repairs to my chimney with diligence, courtesy and an eye for detail and quality. The price was fair and the workmanship was very professional. I'm a very satisfied customer who enthusiastically recommends Wilkens to others.

Outstanding, that's truly what the team at Cozy world are. Boris, Sina and Fred. I bought my furnace from them in 2010. I've called a couple of times for minor issues/advice and they're wonderfully helpful. I've just had my first bigger issue with an engine and they couldn't have been more helpful.. or quicker to respond. Buying a furnace is a big deal. Discovering a team of professionals who KEEP you warm (or cool) is an even BIGGER deal. These guys are just so good and they earn both loyalty and their top ranking. I cannot recommend them to you strongly enough. If you're looking for pros, do yourself a favour and just call Cozy World!

I just had a truly incredible experience with C Mitchell and Sons, so I am delighted to write this review and also simply say DEFINITELY CHECK THEM OUT.. out as in OUTSTANDING! I had a fairly minor flat roof job that I had been procrastinating about.. Roy came, gave a reasonable quote and seemed a decent as well as professional person to deal with. It went well and I was very happy. There was a stage two job, the replacement of my 100+ year old steep roof - slate covered with shingles. This was a BIG job. Here's the drill: two days, a team of 8, they turned up perfectly on time, worked like crazy, took AMAZING care with both our house and our (admittedly wonderful) neighbours. Each day they were wrapped by five, left everything spotless and were probably the best group of professionals I have ever dealt with. I simply can't talk highly enough about Roy, his team and this company. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR!

I chose Tip Top from the high ratings it had on Home Stars and - once again - this service proved its merit, as did Pierce and the team at Tip Top. They delivered, exactly as promised. Pierce was great to deal with on the phone and he and his team (who actually did the job) turned up as expected and did everything the way they said they would. It was a really first class effort, and experience. I highly recommend this company, through homestars and will also be recommending them to colleagues and friends. If you (like me) are procratinating about who to call and whether or not to get the job done... take my advice, just pick up the phone and call Pierce, you won't be disappointed!

Boris and his colleague Kam really deserve their top ranking in this category. We bought a new furnace from them last year and they were outstanding. But what makes them true pros is that they don't hesitate to help out (with questions like changing filters and routine maintenance) and, just yesterday, responding to a leak that was caused by our air conditioning pipes (but was coming out of the furnace area). It's Saturday on a long weekend and Boris gets back to my call immediately and arranges for Kam to come by and see what the problem is. They turn up when they say they will turn up and Kam is quite remarkable in how diligent he is in diagnosing the issue, triple checking everything and then fixing it and checking again and again to make sure it's a job well done. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. At work I always make sure to tell people there is nobody else they should turn to for heating and cooling matters... and that's what I love about homestars... it's a place where you can make sure that the best of the best get the recognition and the business they deserve... and, certainly, Boris and Kam deserve 'Best of the Best' recognition!

I recently purchased a new house, and I knew I needed to replace the 25 year old furnace. I used homestars (YET AGAIN - I SWEAR BY THIS SITE!) and found Boris/Cozy World. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. He's a wonderful, and decent, and thoughful person, who took me through my options and explained everything in terms even I understood! The installation - Thanks to his team - went flawlessly (Kam was another wonderful person to deal with) and I can only say if you have a heating need, pick up the phone and call Boris. I found Steve through Homestars, and he lived up to his 'top of the crop' ranking. Call his number, you'll get voicemail... but he'll get back to you. Just as other reviewers have said, he 'diagnoses' over the phone. Gives you an estimate, and no pressure... If you commit, he comes through, turning up on time and sticking to the price he quoted. I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism of this guy. Just trust him!
