I had an excellent experience with Professional Roofers.com, I would recommend them. I had replacement of my shingle roof and flat roof over my front entrance May 2023. I called several companies, one gave me an extraordinarily high quote, several companies did not return my calls at all (very common in Toronto when you try to get work done on your home). I got a prompt call and meeting with Fernando. He was professional, explained the job and left me with a quote for the job and potential start date for the job. Once confirmed I was scheduled in as discussed and the week of the job the crew did the installation quickly, professionally and left my property clean and tidy. I'm very happy with the entire experience and would recommend them. Thank you Fernando and Leandro.

I am so grateful to Kas and Tony for coming out earlier this week (practising physical distancing) to inspect my roof and clear out my dryer vent. My dryer had become unusable since the vent was almost completely clogged at the roof line. Plus they inspected my roof and skylight. Thank you for the prompt response, it is greatly appreciated!

I called Imran earlier in the season and he was away, I was very impressed he followed up with me on his return to ensure I had my fireplaces checked before the busy fall/winter season. He checked and cleaned three gas fireplaces and as always was prompt, courteous and provided excellent service and recommendations. I will use his services again and would recommend him to anyone.

The cable on my garage door broke late in the day on a Friday, my garage could partially close but was lopsided and couldn't close all the way. Not great to have it like this all weekend. I called a few companies and Monday was the earliest service they offered. Chris was able to come the next morning. He did the job quickly and at a fair price. I am very grateful I connected with Chris and was able to get the job done so quickly.

Each year living in our house we find another "surprise" the builder of our house skimped on. This time it was the insulation in the attic. I was told by several trades people we had extremely inadequate insulation with very poor installation. I had several companies quote on the job but I found Mark was the only one who could commit to getting insulation to our difficult to access attic space, even being able to insulate a raised slopped area at the front of our house. Mark is knowledgable and helpful, his crew arrived on time and did a good job. I am looking forward to more consistent temperatures in the house especially on the second floor.

My home is 8 years old, it has a beautiful granite countertop (installed by another company) but the undermount sink was coming loose and needed to be reattached. Not many companies want to be bothered with small jobs like this so I was very appreciative when Vlad took my call and within the week sent John to quickly fix the problem. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional. Thank you!

Our house is 7 years old, we have 3 gas fireplaces and I never had them serviced - I hardly ever used them. That changed this year. Imran inspected, cleaned and serviced all 3 fireplaces in October 2013. They never looked better! I have used them all winter, and during the ice storm when we lost power for several days I was able to use the fireplaces confidently knowing they were in excellent working order. Our house was toasty warm. I will definitely call Imran again for our annual maintenance from now on.

My home is 6 years old, very high with a stone facade. Birds have been nesting in the soffit at the front of the house for several seasons, getting in at the roof-line, as well as the small gaps between the stone and soffit. I called several companies who never returned calls, this is a tedious and "small job" relative in terms of cost for a roofer who is interested in taking big jobs. Jason and Rob from the repairs department came out to do the initial estimate, they made suggestions of how to get the birds out, fix the soffit, and after a roof inspection suggested we replace air vents on our roof as well as the roof needing some caulking. Four weeks later the job was done (they were very busy). Joe completed the work and did a great job. He meticulously fitted small pieces of aluminum like a jigsaw puzzle to close up the bigger gaps where birds could get in, and caulked everything to give it a neat appearance. He replaced our vents on the roof, even taking the time to show me the dryer vent which was collecting huge amount of lint and creating a hazard, as well as making the dryer work way harder than it needed to. It seems the builder/contractor who built my home saved some money by using super cheap vent covers on our roof, and the wrong cover for the dryer vent, where we couldn't readily see them. I am happy to report we have more no birds - and our dryer runs like new again. Thank you very much!

I want to thank you so much for a job well done, we are extremely happy with our new office / guest room wall unit, and my laundry room is finally neat and tidy with new storage cabinets. This “small” house project turned into a bigger project once we realized we wanted cabinets and built-ins. I had two other companies quote on the projects, companies which are very popular and well known. Everyone had similar prices, but I was surprised by their extremely slow turn-around time and product selection. One company I eliminated simply because they couldn’t colour-match our existing trim colour. The other company I eliminated because they were so slow… I had a complete final drawing of both my jobs with full cost from Royal before company #2 even got back to me on anything from our first meeting (no costs, no drawings)! Show Veronika your space and explain what you’re looking for and she will give you a rough sketch and estimate right away. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Royal: Veronika, Lisa, the installers (I am so sorry I can’t remember everyone’s name but you were all great), and a big thank you to owner Sergio. You have turned two small, awkward rooms in my home into attractive, usable space! I’ve included photos below.

My previous home was 70 years old and had radiators for heat, so I had no experience with duct cleaning. I usually call several companies for estimates when I am having work done around the house, but from the reviews and the prompt and courteous telephone service I went with Capps right away. What a great decision! Paul and Joe arrived and were very friendly, professional and did an excellent job. Paul gave me a "how to take care of your furnace" talk to get me on the right path to furnace and duct maintenance, thank you so much, it is greatly appreciated, I will never neglect my furnace filters again! I would highly suggest them to friends and family, and I plan to have them back soon to clean the dryer vent.

There are so many painters and painting companies in the city it can be overwhelming. I contacted three companies for quotes, two rated highly on Homestars. One came quickly to my home to review the work required but never followed through with giving me an estimate for the job (I finally told them I needed to move ahead with the job and to not bother sending me the estimate). The other company was extremely fast in giving me an estimate and very thorough, but their estimate was 2 to 3 times higher than Finer Edge. I ended up choosing Finer Edge. They quickly scheduled an in-home review of the jobs, wrote up an estimate on site and were able to get the work scheduled on a tight schedule. My job was small, I needed some exterior work done as well as an office/guest room and ensuite bathroom. Everyone at Finer Edge was friendly, professional, and courteous, from the person who answers the phone to the project managers and painters. We have lots more painting needed in our house and will definitely be calling you in the future and recommending you to friends and family. We had no hot water so I figured it was a problem with our water heater, instead it turned out to be a broken mixer. With two young kids having freezing baths was not an option, we needed someone in quickly. The call was answered quickly, within an hour the dispatcher called to let me know someone was on the way. Within 3 hours of my first call the job was done. John was very professional, courteous and fast. Thank you! I would definitely use you again and recommend you to others.

From the first call I knew this company was different, Carole was very helpful on the phone and booked a day right away, no deposits, no problems. David (the owner) did an in-home estimate and gave me excellent moving tips and left a useful info package, I appreciated that he didn't do "the big sell". The day of the move the four-man team was early (early!), they quickly set to work and did an outstanding job. They were professional and tireless, they even finished earlier than expected which meant I paid less than my original estimate. Emerald is not the cheapest mover you will find but for peace of mind and promises kept they are an excellent company to deal with. I will definitely use them in the future.
