I have an older Beach home with a wood burning fireplace that had stopped working properly. Our issues were more than cosmetic and it was hard to find anyone who could talk intelligently about what was happening, or why. We had numerous quotes from guys who wanted to simply rip out and replace what we had, but Wilkens were the only firm interested in helping us to find the issue. It turns out that our new windows and doors have made our house much more air tight, so the fireplace wasn't drawing air properly. Their solution included an air vent that they built into a newly poured hearth, and now the problem is solved. The work itself started and finished exactly as their estimate detailed, with no surprises. This was a big undertaking for us, and it wasn't something that we want to 'redo'. It was a good feeling to know that we hired the right guys the first time.

Fast, easy booking process. They requested photos of the boiler and a description of issues at time of booking, then arrived prepared. My boiler wasn't working at all, with an error code on the front panel. After diagnosing the issue, they gave pricing on parts before starting work. No surprises and really good communication. I'm now doing a bunch more work with them on replacement rads and new valves.

Installed a new, tankless Navien combi-boiler to replace 20 year old gas bolier. Received quotes from three different firms and Max's price was most competitive. I didn't think to ask what would be included in the price that was quoted and when I saw the mess of old pipes that was left behind after the old furnace was removed, I wasn't thrilled. However, a simple conversation moved us quickly to an agreement on a price for a second part of the job, which was to replace and tidy up all of the pipes in the furnace room. The end result is excellent and total cost for all work was still very good value. The true test of a firm's quality is how they deal with unexpected problems and issues and how responsive they are for support calls after they've been paid. Max is a pro. Highly recommended. (I'll upload a photo when I don't have so much junk stored in the furnace room).

Fantastic company. It's one thing to have a company that treats you well until you buy their product, but what makes a great company is the service and support after the sales is made.
