Had a hot water tank that sprung a leak - Oni was quick to get to our house and attempt to fix the leak - hoping it was the pipes. Unfortunately, it was the tank that failed. After purchasing a new tank Oni returned on another day. The disconnect/install of the new tank went smoothly, despite being very awkward to access. (upon my approval/direction he cut through some drywall and we created a new access point to my furnace room). Oni welcomed my suggestions on how to approach this complicated situation and was very agreeable in making it happen. He was efficient, quick and incredibly pleasant. I would work with him again.

Great experience with Merv! Fridge was gradually (over 4 days) getting less cold - decided on the morning of Easter to get some quotes (thinking we'd have to wait until Monday). Merv got back within 15 mins of the request going out to let us know he was not charging a premium rate for Easter Sunday, and was at our home in 2 hrs. Knew exactly what it likely was, did the diagnostics and he was right: the defrost timer/thermostat. He had the part with him and within another hour was completed. He was prompt, really pleasant, incredibly conscientious (what with COVID lockdown and all) and took great care with everything. Thank you Homestars for another great home maintenance project, and special thanks to Merv for taking pride in your work. We were very happy to have our fridge back up an running!

Len was great! Was at my home within 3 hours of the call (at the beginning of the window of time he estimated), was very pleasant and knowledgeable and got right to it. His repair was done within the hour and he made recommendations for future care and est. life left in my furnace.
