We went with Halton Window and Door because other people we know who researched picked them. Mike & crew did a wonderful job - the worksite was very neat and the house stayed warm despite being a winter job. We love our new windows and doors. And the trimming they did afterwards was utterly beautiful - no silicone needed as the fit was perfect. The cost of our project was high due having many windows including the presence of 10 small semi-circular windows that are very difficult to make. Anthony was very apologetic about the high cost. He went back to the manufacturer to negotiate a lower cost and reduced his cut to bring the cost down.

New Steel Roofers were a pleasure to work with. Upon meeting us they did not pressure us at all and provided samples to help us select a beautiful stone coated steel roof (back in 2011). The installers were very nice, hardworking and very tidy. They actually knocked on the door one day to tell me that a piece of debris accidentally got away from them and fell into my neighbour's yard. I was very impressed when I considered all of the garbage that other roofers let fly all over the place without a thought for neighbours. I am very proud of my roof which is the best in the neighbourhood. I highly recommend the extra expense for the stone coating as I was not fond of the shiny metal and the snow catching brackets. I still don't understand why people put up those ugly asphalt shingles that don't last.
