We needed to have the old asbestos wrapping removed from our radiator pipes running from the basement, in preparation for a renovation involving updating our electrical wiring. I called a few places, received a very professional response from Manny at Greenstream, and decided to go with his price quotation as it was detailed and also reasonable compared with other quotes I'd had. The process went very smoothly and the 4-person crew worked hard to complete it in one day. They did a great job and now we can move forward with our reno. Many thanks to Manny for answering my many questions and making sure everything went as discussed, on time and on budget.

Deanna was great - she listened to what we might like, observed how we lived in our house, and didn't impose ideas on us, just tried to draw out how we could change our space to make it more liveable. She was also realistic about reno budgets and recommended things we could save money on, and what things might be more important to spend on. She didn't rush us during the design process, which was a good strategy because it gave us some time to really think about the draft drawings and how we might use our spaces better. All in all a very good experience, I would highly recommend her services.

We had to replace our old boiler system (we have rads in our 1917 Toronto house) and we got several quotes and recommendations about how to proceed. We decided to go with Paul at Ductless.ca because he provided the most detailed and thoughtful quote for us based on what he felt would be most suitable for our house. We had our boiler and our hot water tank replaced with a combi boiler PLUS the install crew (Andy and his assistant Carl) removed and cleaned up a lot of the (ancient!) piping. The best thing is that the installation took place over 3 days (they started the first day in the mid-afternoon after completing another job) and Andy made sure we always had hot water for dishwashing and showers overnight, so no inconvenience to us trying to get a busy family going in the morning. Excellent service from Paul, he came with the crew on the first day, and came by several times during the installation process to check on things. Very much appreciated.

We first started using GEM about 17 years ago when we had to replace the screen door at the side of our house. We have an old house, almost 100 years old, and nothing is standard sized. I called around to various places and the only company that was helpful and happy to provide and install a custom-sized screen door was GEM. We have since replaced almost all our windows (over the years, a few at a time) with GEM, including a back patio door that was oversized, not standard. We recently used GEM again to replace our front door as well as our front hallway windows, and 2 other windows in bedrooms. The GEM salesperson listened to what we wanted, made some suggestions that fit our budget but would still give us the effect we wanted, and everything followed from there. The installers are very neat and clean up thoroughly after themselves which we (and our neighbours) appreciated. The door and windows look amazing.
