When Deanna comes over, it's like a breath of fresh air. She's very good at coming up with creative design ideas that fit the space. The result is a great looking space that is very liveable. We felt that she listened to all of our concerns whether it was about a big decision or fretting over one of the seemingly endless small choices. Deeana is very generous with her ideas and she will take the time to make suggestions about small details that will make a big difference. We have no hesitations recommending her to anyone who is doing a reno big or small.

There are designers who can make a space look as if it belongs in a magazine and then there are designers who plan a space to be lived in. Dee is the designer who plans great spaces for people! Dee has planned two basements and a kitchen for me. She considers how our family lives, draws a plan and amends after discussing. She helps me visualize what the space will look like and how it will flow. I'm extremely pleased with my spaces and have hired Dee on several occasions. Dee has helped me choose the right colours for my bathroom and staged my house to sell. She sees the little things that make a big difference and provides her unique perspective. Dee is easy going, professional and respectful.

Dee helped us with a large renovation to our home that included a new kitchen, two baths and an addition to the the back of our house on two floors. She had a comprehensive understanding of how to create functional space for a large family that included reorganizing the space completely and involved many structural changes to our house. She developed a complete floor plan that has suited our needs perfectly. I would recommend Dee to anyone who is considering any type of renovation. We live in a very old house that has limited space and of course a very tiny bathroom. After scouring through websites and reading reviews of various designers, we knew Deanna was the right person for us after reading so many positive reviews about her work. Deanna is a visionary and she designed for a us a very beautiful, spacious and functional bathroom. We are very grateful to her! We were able to hand over her detailed drawings to our contractor and the contractor executed her plan to a 'T'. We would definitely use Deanna's services for any future projects and we don't have any hesitations recommending her services to anyone who asks!

We hired Deanna to design our bathroom renovation -- a complete gut job as a result of long term water damage. We asked for designs for two options: one that incorporated the small back bedroom into a large bathroom/laundry facility; the other to maintain the bedroom. Deanna's designs were innovative and practical. She pointed out the key advantages and disadvantages of each option and left the decision to us. On the advice of our real estate agent, we retained the third bedroom and focused on making the most of the small bathroom. Deanna's final design maximized the use of space and stayed within our budget. She was terrific in assessing where and how to save and where to invest for the elegantly understated look we were after. She introduced us to, and worked closely with, a talented contractor and steered us to very helpful suppliers.

Deanna was great - she listened to what we might like, observed how we lived in our house, and didn't impose ideas on us, just tried to draw out how we could change our space to make it more liveable. She was also realistic about reno budgets and recommended things we could save money on, and what things might be more important to spend on. She didn't rush us during the design process, which was a good strategy because it gave us some time to really think about the draft drawings and how we might use our spaces better. All in all a very good experience, I would highly recommend her services.

I'm a painter and I've worked with Deanna on a number of projects. I'd just like to say that she is very easy to talk to and a pleasure to deal with. She answers her phone every time I call her with a question. As a painter I am the last contractor on the job and I get to see every inch of the project top to bottom. I see the quality of work of each trade that worked before me. If the plaster isn't up to par and the trim carpenter doesn't do a good job the paint job suffers and doesn't turn out the way it should. I can honestly say that the contractors Deanna uses are fantastic and they make my life easier when it's my time to paint. I would highly recommend Deanna, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
