I purchased a furnace and gas fireplace insert from Button's in November. I haven't gotten around to writing here until 3 months later, but I'm glad I waited, because now I can attest to the excellent post-sales service this company provides.
When researching the purchase of my furnace, I came across advice that the installation of the equipment is more important than which brand name of furnace to buy. This made sense to me, as the very best equipment installed improperly wouldn't do anyone much good. Although Button's was not my cheapest option, I made the decision to go with this company because Todd took the time to explain everything to me upfront about the installation, and I sensed I would not be sorry doing business with this man.
As it turns out, I could not have hoped for a better experience than choosing Button's. The installation guys were wonderful, so polite and professional. It was actually a pleasure to have them here. With all the coming and going out of the house that day as they worked, the cat slipped out the door and was lost for a few hours. Mike from the crew even called me the next morning to see if I'd found the cat, which I had.
Todd has been just great. I have had some questions and small issues since installation day, and he has always come over here and promptly taken care of things. A bit of old ductwork was expanding with the heat, and making a knocking noise, and Todd came over and braced it; everything is quiet now. A bit of paint flaked off the fireplace facing. Todd told me he'd make it right, and he did, by having the manufacturer send a replacement section, and then Todd came over and put it on. Last night, the fireplace didn't seem to want to work for me, so I e-mailed Todd, and he was in the neighborhood so within minutes my doorbell rang, and there he was. A few minutes after that, the fireplace was working.
Fantastic service. Todd has cheerfully been there for me every time.
I also had to call the Button's office about the rebate form, and the woman I spoke to, Renee, was extremely helpful. Todd and everyone else at Buttons' really seem to care about their customers.
I'm very happy with my Trane furnace so far. I don't turn the thermostat up any further than I turned up the old one, but yet the house just feels warmer everywhere, less drafty.
In the spring, I will have Buttons install air conditioning. I couldn't be more pleased with this company. I would recommend them to anyone.
