Antonio and his crew are top notch. He added a 20A breaker to our panel and ran exterior lines to 2 underserved attic bedrooms. His work is so clean, careful and methodical, and he does everything by the book, no shortcuts. I was kept in the loop every step of the way. He also kept all work areas remarkably clean. His quote was very fair and he was able to stick to it. And on top of all that he's a super personable guy and a pleasure to chat with! Highly recommend Java Electric.

Was an absolute pleasure working with Erick at the office and Tim who dropped by to do the repairs. We have a very old garage door that was starting to fail. I sent Erick over some pictures and they sent back a very reasonable quote. When Tim showed up to do the job, he took a LOT of care analyzing the problem, fixed exactly what they said they would for the exact price they said they would, and also educated me very thoroughly on garage door maintenance to avoid unnecessary expenses in the future. Tim also showed me various things about the old garage installation that could cause problems in the future (they all made complete sense to me, his communication about everything was amazing). They provided yet another reasonable quote, and Tim promptly returned a few days later to implement a couple of his additional recommendations. I was beyond impressed with Tim's attention to detail. Because of the awkward previous installation, he had to do a lot of problem solving on the fly, all in order to make sure the repairs were super solid. Everything was done with great care, and was explained to me every step of the way. He even ingeniously repurposed some old materials that would have been discarded to enhance his repairs. I would not hesitate to calls these guys, they were truly great to work with and I can't thank them enough for the solid job they did.

***Edit 3 days later***: We had a problem come up after the job was finished that we don't believe was Star Moon's fault. They came back SO promptly, on a Saturday night, to fix it anyway. I was present while they were working and I watched them trying to be as perfectionistic as they could given the circumstances trying to get everything sorted out. In the end, they solved the lingering issue. Not only that, but they cleaned up the entire work area as if they weren't even there, after fixing an issue that was probably beyond their control, at 8:30pm on a Saturday. Beyond impressed with this company. ***Original review***: Had an amazing experience with Star Moon. Joyce was so patient and communicative over email and answered all my questions as I did my own research trying to figure out exactly what needed to get done. The rates were also competitive. The new roof looks great, very clean job, and they provided photos of each step. They also did the job ridiculously fast, like I couldn't believe it, but apparently they had a large team working that day. They also left the job site perfectly clean. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I reached out to ~10 roofers via phone/email and Frank's response really caught my attention. Everyone else quoted a min repair price and a price to come out, but Frank looked up my roof on Google Streetview, so he knew EXACTLY what kind of issues could come up and provided a granular price list, outlining the potential cost of repairs for each roof section. He also provides a service where he inspects the roof with a drone, which we purchased as well. After the drone inspection, he provided a detailed proposal with multiple photos of all potential issues, each with an individual explanation and quote. He was extremely responsive by email and answered any and all questions we had about the proposal. After the work was completed, he provided several photos of the finished repairs, which were professional and clean. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with his payment terms, but ended up smoothing everything out. Frank is extremely communicative, responsive, prompt, and we believe provided great work at a competitive price.

Adriano was great, I'd recommend him to anyone. Very professional, personable, punctual, worked quickly, went the extra mile to explain the issue to me, and stayed afterward to test everything to make sure it worked. Also was cognizant of covid protocols the whole time. I tried to offer him a slice of cake, but he politely declined, which shows me he must be health conscious as well. Igniters on both ovens were worn beyond being reliable, and he brought the parts, diagnosed, installed the parts, and tested. All is well, what's not to like?

Altin is just the best. Super easy and straightforward to get a quote from and book with, had a thorough phone chat and a few messages over text. Was very cognizant of COVID and wore a mask the whole time. Was extremely punctual, tidy and friendly. Work-wise he was quick and thorough, and made sure to explain what he was doing every step of the way so I knew why he was making the decisions he made. It felt great to be kept in the loop. He was really thoughtful about the way he approached every problem as well. He also made suggestions of easy small jobs he thought I'd be able to tackle myself rather than charging me, which was much appreciated. At the end of the day, one of the problems was unresolvable through no fault of Altin's, but he knocked a chunk off the original quote anyway. I'm aware he does much larger and more complicated jobs than ours as well (just read the other reviews). I wouldn't hesitate to call Altin to work on any plumbing job we have in the future.

Marc is an absolute legend, best customer service and personality you could ask for in a person. He took the time to fully understand my dryer vent situation, came to my house, worked on it for a while, and didn't charge me because he wasn't confident he had fixed the issue because of a strange quirk with my setup that was out of his control. I was very taken aback and insisted on at least covering some hourly payment for his efforts, but he insisted his policy is that if he doesn't fix the problem, he doesn't charge. He also made recommendations for a company that may be able to help. All this being said, I'm sure he's more than capable of fixing 99.9% of more standard dryer vent situations and I'd highly recommend the guy. I don't think there's anything more satisfying than dealing with honest, friendly, hard-working people, I'd always willing to pay a premium for that, but his prices seem on par with everyone else, so that makes him a real gem.

Regarding ticket SWCLBV5HNM-1 Elite was called to diagnose and fix a broken dryer under warranty. Even though there were strange issues with the warranty, Elite figured it all out, fast, and got all the work done under the warranty. The tech, Simon, was friendly, clear, professional and super quick at diagnosing and fixing the problem and everything's perfect now. Couldn't ask for more really, thanks guys.

Odd Job did a great job of demolishing and removing an old rotting, termite-eaten door frame, fixing the vapor barrier underneath the frame, rebuilding the frame and installing the door, in honestly a rather wonky basement entrance-way. They also changed the way the door functioned to make sure everything was up to code (solid door, opening outward). Another thing I appreciated was they did some prep work at their workshop so my day didn't have to be interrupted by a follow-up visit. I can't stress enough how friendly, organized, prompt and efficient these guys are, and the workmanship is great as well. Top marks in all areas, really.

Super quick response to my inquiry and their customer service person laid out all my options for me and associated costs. As soon as I chose a course of action, I was booked within 4 days of calling, the technician showed up on time, and made sure everything was working before he left. Great, smooth, professional experience, nothing really negative to say about these guys.
