I needed two large cedar bushes removed from my backyard and one at the front trimmed. I always check Homestars before I engage with any companies and looked up Tree Services is Mississauga. Forestwood had very positive reviews so I contacted them and spoke with Michelle and made an appointment for Mike to visit and give me a quote. The quote was reasonable and we arranged for the work to be done the following week. Mike and his crew arrived on time, got the work done quickly, removed the bushes and ground the stumps, trimmed the front cedar and everything was tidied up very well. I would recommend Forestwood for their work and customer service.

I went to Homestars website last year as needed both the side fences in my yard replacing as over 30 years old. After researching several fencing companies I contacted Nelson as he had great reviews. Nelson was prompt in answering my enquiry and quickly arranged to do a site visit and gave my neighbours and I a competitive quote, and we were going to proceed with the project in the fall. Unfortunately due to the lumber shortage, Nelson was unable to get the product to do the job in the fall and so we agreed to defer until this spring. The price of the job increased somewhat due to lumber prices going up so drastically, but Nelson did his best to keep the price as low as could in the circumstances. Nelson stayed in touch with me regularly over the months to update me on the lumber situation and on his schedule, and started the job on the day he said he would. He completed the job in two days and my neighbours and I are very happy with the quality of his work. Everything was cleaned up after the job and he did his best to preserve my plants during the build. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nelson - he is honest and a hard worker and builds great fences.

A few months ago, the front glass on my 20 year old fireplace suddenly shattered and was unusable. After going to Homestars website I found wonderful reviews for Imran and so called him and left a message. Imran called me back very quickly and we discussed my issue and arranged for him to visit. Due to its age, replacing the glass in the existing fireplace would have been expensive and so we decided to replace the fireplace. Imran was so responsive and addressed all my concerns. He is very knowledgeable with many years of experience and worked so hard on my fireplace and did a very professional job. He is a very caring person and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my fireplace, and I would highly recommend him.

I needed my Kenmore dishwasher top shelf fixed as it had broken off the track and I was unable to use it. Sam was very accommodating on timing the repair to fit my schedule. He got delayed at another job but made sure he let me know he would be late, and arrived when he said he would. Sam had anticipated what the problem was from when I spoke with him on the phone, and brought the correct hardware with him to fix my shelf. The shelf is now fixed and I can use the dishwasher again. Sam was very professional and I would not hesitate to use JSN Appliances Repair again should any of my other appliances need repair in the future.
