We hired this company as the person running it put our pool in 13 years ago and we thought that we could trust him.We were wrong. We found that we were adding water every day and figured out that we had a leak.We called Jason at Poolcraft and were told that they did leak detection.I was quoted $400.00 for this service and their price was comparable so we went with them. This started in September last year.About a week later they sent 2 guys out with sober leak detection. They couldn't find any leaks in the liner but said they found water going out at the return jets and we needed jet gaskets. I went and picked some up and replaced them.Still we had a leak. Then the same guys came about 2 weeks later and did a pressure test.Still couldn't find any leaks. Then they thought that maybe it was the main drain. They once again had to come back 2 weeks later and bring a wet suit .During this whole time they wanted me to keep the heater on so they could dive down to the main drain.By this point it was mid to late October. Not only did I have to keep it heated but I also had to add water every day. They came back 2 more times and they didn't have the proper equipment so he was using river rocks in his "dry suit" from my Bradenton weigh himself down.He supposedly plugged the main drain in mid November and I could finely close my pool.In the spring of this year I had my liner replaced and the company that did the replacement found that the main drain was not plugged after all as the guy had used a rubber stopper plug not the screw in type so it wasn't even in the main drain hole. This company may know how to install a pool but they sure have no idea how to detect a leak.Of course if this is the way they work in charging us $850.00 for services not rendered if your thinking of getting a pool installed by them I might think twice!!

Hi Les, thank you for taking the time to post a review although I was quite surprised by your comments. You hired us to detect a leak in your pool and below is a record of what transpired.

On September 22,2016 our leak detection crew discovered that your face plate on the deep end return was cracked. You indicated that you wanted to have all the face plates replaced and decided to take this task on yourself. After you replaced the face plates you contacted our office and said you thought you were still losing water.

On October 7th, 2016 our leak detection crew returned and discovered that the face plates you installed were loose and needed to be tightened. Our crew adjusted the face plates and was unable to detect any other issues with your pool at that time.

I would like to remind you that you were emailed on October 18th, 2016 to inform you that my office had temporarily lost 2 key administrators. Geoff had just lost the mother of his children in a tragic accident and he had become the sole caregiver for his two young children and Cassidy had just become a first time father. During this time, the office was short handed and we had people filling in for Geoff and Cassidy with less experience.

On February 21st, 2017 I sent you an email asking you to contact me regarding the invoice but I never heard back from you. If your pool was losing water over the winter as you are suggesting, you should have contacted us. We have a winter check program and a crew that inspects pools throughout the winter. If your pool was losing water over the winter, you would have experienced damage to your winter cover and I would have certainly expected to hear from you if this were the case. That being said, I am not convinced your pool lost water over the winter

I have also attempted to contact you this week by cell phone and email however you have neglected to respond.

In my opinion, I believe both sides could have done a better job communicating with each other and we certainly apologize for our part.

We had some interlock repair required on our pool deck as it had sunk over the years and GTA Sealing came and gave us a great quote in a short period of time. They came back in less than two weeks and did the repairs as well as powerwashed the whole patio and walkways within 2 days of starting. They did a fantastic job and laid polymeric sand to help stop interlock shifting and weed control. We can't say enough praises about these young group of guys that fixed our patio in short order and for less than half of the price of the other quotes we received. Great company and I have already recommend them to others. Of course we will only know if the work they did stands the test of time next year. But so far it looks amazing as you can see. Sincerely L.King :)
