We've gone the last 4 years without AC in our home. Summer of 2010 was unbearably hot, so when I found out I was pregnant in Jan 2011, we decided this year we were finally going to get an AC installed. We were on a tight budget and leery of contractors. That's why I was so happy I found True Home Comfort on HomeStars.
I spoke with Chris in Feb and he came out right away for a quote. He explained everything to us and gave us his opinions on which AC unit would be best. He gave us 3 options in different price ranges and didn't try to sell one unit over the other. Some months went by, I had some questions and Chris was always quick to respond. We got a couple of other quotes and Chris' came in the lowest. Eventually my husband and I made up our minds on the unit and install date and Chris accommodated our schedules and got in within 2 weeks. Yesterday our original thermostat started acting funny and I thought it might be an issue with the AC. I emailed Chris, he responded within 5 minutes and was over at our house within the hour! Turns out the thermostat was working, just old and fussy.
You can't beat True Home Comfort's price and customer service.
