Four Seasons and Alex were the team that I would not hesitate to call back, professional and great guy to work with. I've found him to be very reliable, we got the furnace installed last year and had an issue with the Thermostat (would run the temp high without any intervention, unpleasant!), it was taken care of promptly the same day after 2 calls! Can't speak for him highly enough, after sales service is top-notch. I hope it stays the course in the future :)

Alec from Handyman connection was very courteous, he took time to listen, see the issues that we were needing help with, and advise if it needed repair (or not). He was honest in his dealings and did the job in time, cleanly without fuss. The time to bring someone in from HC was the issue, which is why its not a perfect 10. Thank you.

Two Men and A truck, an introduction- had them move us late 2010, in a days worth of effort, and spent next 4-6 months resolving the issues they brought with them. The discussions were with the franchise itself, credit card company, Heron Capital management (that manages this franchise...). From the above, it would be apparent to you, how the move went. If it is not apparent, then this franchise/company, for sanity reasons, a No GO. Issues varied and ranged from negligence to incompetence to improper financial transaction. The most incompetent mover I have had, and I moved 3 continents, 5 countries in the past 6-7 years, so I do know a bit about what it takes for a normal move. Now the actual details, movers showed up late, without ANY tools, (for a full service move), they then blamed the franchise owner (Costello), the sales guy (Dick) for the delay, no tools and why sun rises in the east! They then refused to disassemble with the tools I provided, the movers sat in the truck while I disassembled, they had a jolly good time on my dime- extended smoke breaks, truck disappeared after loading, and on return was advised they went to lunch, who was to tell me??? I almost called Police (though now I wish I had :))! The move was really a few blocks, and it took them ALL morning and ALL afternoon to complete. To top it, billing included all the breaks, lunch, smoke, and the time they started from Burlington (to Mississauga)??? The charge is by the hour! In all, I was paying for 4 extra hours of work that was never done. Corrupt! I understand, mistakes happen, however, when there is no subsequent action, taken that is when in my mind, where the biggest problem. The franchise owner, Heron Management did little to resolve the issues their workers presented, after the fact. I lay the onus on the franchise and the management for lack of effort to address this failure. Thanks to BBB and Credit card co there was some respite from this atrocious moving company. AS a last note, the credit card company advised they have flagged this merchant for continued excessive charges (whatever that means), perhaps another review coming from someone? Save yourself the trouble, get someone else, than employing "2 or more dishonest men and their truck" for your move. Happy moving!

Todd , the owner/painter is a pleasant guy to work with. We hired Platinum Pro for a resale home paint, interior, 2000 sq ft of space + basement + all doors to be painted last year. The job was completed on time without fuss. Issues that came up during the painting, were listened to, and addressed by Todd promptly. He even returned back a week later, to complete the kitchen ceiling which was not done properly and something that me and my wife had missed pointing out. A few areas where he or his crew could have done more were small repairs on the wall, door, that should've been fixed at the time, paint swatches that show now were not sanded off. We do have a 5 year warranty, which we will be testing soon! In terms of cost, he was not the cheapest, but his willingness to work with our needs, and the want to take the job was what worked for him. I wish Todd @ Platinum Pro the very best and his customers happy painting!
