I was in desperate need of a plumber- my bathroom sink faucet would not turn off and the more I tried, the greater the amount of water that started coming out from both the front and back of the faucet. I finally put some weights on the handle which temporarily stopped the flow. As we had recently had some bad experiences with a few different plumbers, I turned to Homestars for a recommendation and found The Great Plumbing Company. I was given a 12-3 pm window for arrival and precisely at noon, Jeff came and saved the day! He gave us a few alternatives as his truck was loaded up. What a pleasure to find a knowledgeable and trustworthy plumber! Not only did he replace our tap but he also offered some advice on a few other problems. He made some suggestions for us to check out so that we didnt have to pay for him to do it all. Trustworthy and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with as well!

We were fortunate earlier this year when Cozy World was recommended to us as the furnace at our office broke down in very cold weather. Farhad came to the rescue. We did have another company we had been dealing with for decades but they were bought out by a large company. While we did get a quote from them, both Cozy Worlds price and their responsiveness made it an easy choice. The installation, like everything else, was wonderful. When our home AC broke down, Farhad came to our rescue again but since our furnace was quite old, he recommended a heat pump instead of just replacing our AC. He also explained the reasoning behind it (cost savings with environmental/ energy benefits) He also told us of federal rebates and helped to facilitate this. While we still had a contract with the other company, the choice was easy. The installation, as with the previous one, was literally a breeze. (Haha) The crew, as in the first installation, was great- pleasant, efficient and left my place in great shape I would recommend anyone looking for any home comfort services to contact Cozy World. I’ve used them for a few years and each year, my lawn has looked worse and worse. I’ve called them about problems that their inspections have not picked up. Almost everything but basic weeds costs extra but even taking care of the weeds took numerous emails and phone calls. Many of the weeds are still there. I, stupidly, recommended them to my neighbour and she agreed that her grass had never looked worse. Yet, they keep contacting us to sell more services. I’m done!

I would AVOID this company as they are not skilled in what they do. They damaged our stone, did not do what they were paid for and when we questioned them, they told us they did not like our landscaping and wanted to do the stone differently. When we told them that this was unacceptable, one man started to break up our stone. We called the police. We paid them just to get rid of them as we were actually afraid of them. As I went to plant flowers in the flower beds, they were filled with cement. I would avoid them even if they show you previous jobs. We were diligent and went to see their interlocking work before we hired them. Boy were we fooled!
