After reading these reviews myself before choosing Monaco Interiors for my home renovation here's all you need to know...would I hire them again? Yes in a heartbeat Why? # 1 on everyone's list - were they ON BUDGET? Yes - no surprises, seriously - any extras, no matter how major or minor are discussed beforehand and not completed until a change order is signed and approved by the homeowner. #2 - CUSTOMER SERVICE? Excellent - any issues/surprises that arise (and trust me they will) are dealt with swiftly and professionally at no cost to you. The staff is excellent and attentive. #3 - END RESULT? Amazing!! What we did: Reno of 100 year old home, ripped out, waterproofed, and rebuilt leaky old basement including installing brand new hvac system, new powder room and mudroom. Removed supporting wall between dining room and kitchen to open up the space - installed new marble kitchen, breakfast bar, beverage center and pantry. Had several built-ins customized to fit the nooks and crannies around our home (excellent craftsmanship), freshened up existing bathroom, and did all those little projects you wished you could get to yourself but never did. Time line? Several months - a bit longer than expected, due to Covid delays and the fact that we didn't move out during the construction (so grateful that Monaco was able to accommodate our wishes to stay home in order to care for our elderly dog) FINAL THOUGHTS : Revi and her husband Steven are an excellent team. She is in charge of design - him construction. Steven is soft-spoken and kind. Always happy to answer any questions and available when you need him. He hires quality tradespeople and oversees the work himself. What more could you ask for. Revi is a born leader. Decisive when you need her to be, accommodating when you don't. From day one she tells you her job is to make your own design dreams come true - not hers - and she helps you get there every step of the way. She talked me down from more than one ledge with endless patience and compassion and I was painful, trust me, second guessing and changing my mind a hundred times. She never once made me feel like I was an annoyance and graciously handled every question and concern, no matter how small. They stand behind their work and their people - hire them - you will not be disappointed.

It’s not very often that you can say a company exceeded your expectations, but that’s exactly what my experience with Canada Custom Shutters was like. I had originally hired another shutter company, coordinating my new window installation to their precise specs. One week before the window install I got word the shutter company was out of business! I freaked out and turned to review sites like this one to find a new company. After reading wonderful things about Canada Custom Shutters I gave them a call. Imagine my surprise when none other but the owner, Goran answered my call and assured me they could take care of me. Their sales representative Nick arrived that same day, reassuring me they could take over the job. When the window install got complicated, Nick was there, first on the phone with the installers and then in person to assure the new windows would easily accommodate a seamless shutter install. Literally three weeks later the shutters were ready, installation set up immediately according to my schedule. Installation was complicated as my older home meant window frames were uneven and crooked. Jim really took his time, ensuring a perfect fit, even had the quality assurance manager come out and take a look during the installation. After completion, I wanted to paint my window trim to match the new shutters. When I had trouble getting an exact match, Nick was there once more dropping off a paint sample to help ensure a perfect match. Wow! What service, honestly… I know this review is long, but it is obvious how much Goran and his team care about their customers. Oh and I forgot to mention the shutters look fabulous, function beautifully, and come with a lifetime home owner warranty. Doesn’t get any better than that!

As any older home owner knows, 100 year old windows don't do much for you in terms of energy efficiency, let alone ease of use. Ours didn't even open. We hesitated with replacement, wanting to maintain the character of our old home, but we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Clera. We went with the retractable screens and the windows look amazing and function beautifully. Our salesperson was so patient and knowledgeable. He helped us select the perfect style for the age of our home. Windows were ready in the time frame promised. Our installation crew was fabulous - able to handle all the challenges our old home threw at them, even coming after hours and on the weekend to get the job done. They cleaned up and even vacuumed and disposed of everything, including our old broken storms and screens. Do not hesitate to go with Clera, you will not be disappointed.
