I have two fireplaces in my home. My stand alone had a broken switch making it impossible to turn on and off and my gas log insert was giving me a soot problem. Charles from TJ's came to see me. He was prompt, personable, professional and got to work right away. He diagnosed and repaired both fireplaces. Its dirty work and he left the work areas spotless. I thought the price was reasonable and fair and I would certainly recommend TJ's...and specifically Charles if you are in need of a fireplace repair. Thanks Charles, hope to never see you again. After having an Oakville contractor not show up to a scheduled appointment, we went straight to the source to Stone Selex Design in Mississauga to help us design and build a new fireplace. They sell stone to contractors and DIY's and they also provide design and build services. Lucas from Stone Selex sat with us and helped us design the fireplace, and pick the right stone and mantle that would compliment the rooms' colour, floor and furniture. A few weeks later their contractors came in and started. Jack and Gregory were great. They were easy to deal with, pleasant and hardworking. Most importantly, when they left you wouldn't know they had been there as they left the work area spotless. It took half a day to frame the fireplace and a full day to lay the stone. It's only been a couple weeks and everyone who comes into our place compliments us on how great the fireplace looks. A big thank you to Lucas, Karen, Karolina, Jack and Gregory. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the Stone Selex team.

Our two kitchen pantries were a disaster, a complete waste of space and un-functional. I found Dan The Drawer Man through Home Stars. Dan's great reviews are not exaggerated, he is the real deal. We found Dan to be professional, punctual and friendly. Dan provides a great product and service. His drawers are top quality and the installation was quick and professional. Our pantries are now functional and easy to navigate. We now have three to four times the space. Dan's drawers have allowed us to free up space for other useful kitchen items as well as get rid of the circa 2004 sauces that were hiding in the back of our old configuration. Can't recommend Dan enough!

A leak in our roof caused serious mold issues in our attic. We had all the mold removed but this left us with a substantial area in our home without a ceiling. We had a few companies come in and quote on the project and decided to hire Belyea Bros for the work. Their quote was neither the cheapest, or most expensive, but after meeting and talking with their renovation manager during the quoting process, we had a greater sense of confidence that by choosing Belyea Bros, the job was going to get done right. We were pleased with the two gentleman that showed up to do the work. They were friendly yet professional and showed a high level of respect for our home. Anyone who has done drywall work before knows that it's incredibly messy work. We were very happy with the final results and upon completion of the work, our home was left spotless. We have since hired them again to do some painting in our home and we will continue to endorse them to friends and family looking for a reliable home renovation company that does outstanding work.
