From the initial visit to the store to the delivery and the DIY construction everything went smoothly. The additional assistance on the phone with Bruce was also a great addition to the service they provided. We are very pleased with the end result. Ryan our technician arrived during the appointed time window. He was extremely courteous and very efficient as he carried out the inspection. The process took approximately one hour. When he finished he explained everything he did and deemed our fireplace safe to operate. I asked him a few questions and he was able to honestly answer them to my satisfaction.

I called because I had a no heat emergency on a Friday afternoon because my furnace failed. The customer rep told me that a technician would be there within the hour. He showed up as promised, deduced the problem, ordered the necessary parts and by the next day our furnace was back in commission. I am very pleased with the professionalism of the technicians, and how quick and prompt our problem was resolved considering it was one of the coldest days of the year.

Preparation of the work area: Setup home protection, floors covered with paper to protect from damage, house hold items covered with plastic, areas not being worked on divided by plastic walls to minimize dust, debris removal, dust removal and final clean up of protection. All of the above work was done neatly and efficiently to protect our living space. Benjamin and his assistant helped move furniture to another room to avoid any possible damages. They also removed and help store three French doors the were also in the area to avoid any problems. Benjamin was very concerned and considerate of the upheaval and inconvenience this project would have on our day to day living. He made every possible effort to accommodate us every step of the way. We were kept well informed as we progressed from one phase of the work to avoid any confusion. Drywall & Taping Phase: Removed the bulkheads at the front of house and back of dining room, patched 4 holes where they had been removed and patched 3 electrical box holes from old thermostats. They just blended into existing drywall. They installed new drywall in the dining/living room over the existing popcorn ceiling and taped with 3 coats of plaster and skimmed the entrance hallway with plaster. This phase was expertly finished. You wouldn’t know that the bulkheads ever existed. The degree of accuracy in terms of the smoothness and finish was impressive. When I completed painting the ceiling with the final coat there wasn’t any evidence of undulations (hills and valleys in the drywall). Our popcorn ceilings were history thanks to

“Alex was throughly professional when it came to dealing with the details of the project. He corresponded through emails in a timely manner. He was very accommodating when we discussed the design features and flexible when changes were required. I called many contractors back in September and he was the only contractor that was willing to schedule a time and date for the work to proceed. We had a very small project and was completed over the course of two days. He removed the old fence and took care of the disposal.
