We had three exterior doors replaced by Forhomes, front door, door to the garage and back patio door. And we are very happy with the results. Both Kris and Monica were great to deal, attentive to our concerns, polite, informative, timely, and not pushy - never once did we feel uncomfortable in our communications be it email, voice or in-person which is very important to us. Just a very pleasant purchase experience. The installation teams also went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction with the end result. The pride in workmanship is evident. Forhomes would without question be our first choice for any future window door projects and would recommend them all of our family and friends. We only regret not discovering them when we replaced our windows a few years earlier.

What can I say, Mirek and the KMAX team of installers did an absolutely beautiful job with our hardwood flooring project. We had the carpets in our bedrooms replaced with oak floors to match with the flooring in rest of the house. Incidentally, this style of flooring is no longer manufactured and lucky for us, KMAX just happen to have some remaining stock. The Installation crews were polite, professional and always kept to schedule, a real pleasure to have around over the course of a two week period. I should add, our wood strips were 1.5” width making the installation quite a bit more painstaking and tedious compared to the more common wider planks. And the stain and glaze made the final result almost a perfect match with the existing flooring. The attached photos speak for themselves. In addition to this job, we had KMAX remove a couple of columns on our main floor which sat on existing hardwood flooring. The removal of these two columns left two big unfloored patches. I can’t for the life of me understand why the builder laid flooring around decorative columns rather than under, but I digress. The KMAX crew once again came through and patched up the gap to where the floor appears seamless, nearly like the columns were never there. And as final note, the cost was very reasonable. Needless to saw, we are very happy customers and will not hesitate to re-engaged KMAX on future projects.

Galaxy Windows installed a total of 23 windows in our two-story 16 year old detached home, and we are ecstatic with the results. The windows themselves are as promised, well-built and solid. We chose a non-white colour from a palette of what seemed to be hundreds/thousands of choices for the exterior side of the window. The actual paint application is smooth, with an extruded appearance. Even the exterior caulking was a matching colour which we weren't expecting. The interior trim choices were also numerous. The installation by the Galaxy crew took 2 full days, and you can tell there is pride in workmanship. They were professional and cleaned up afterwards. Overall, the attention to detail and quality in both the window manufacturing and the installation was over the top. Very happy with Galaxy Windows and Hometech and will no doubt be a returning customer.

I just had Martyn and his crew fix up some damage to my roof due to the recent heavy wind storms. There were some missing shingles which they patched up as well as soffit damage where birds were starting to build a nest. My roof is not an easily accessible design with some steep slopes. They did excellent job and I am a satisfied customer.
