Loved working with Royal York! It took a while to get the job done but that is to be expected since it was rainy this summer which caused a lot of delays and they've been busy since the windstorm. Instead of taking the 3 days they initially said it would take, they showed up with a massive crew and got it all done in a day (with just a few touches added the next day). That was a real boon for us given that we have 2 small kids who nap during the day and meant fewer disruptions for the neighbours. The roof looks amazing! We've been through a few rains since it was re-done and so far, no more leaks! Only small complaints are that they almost forget to put the ice shield on our front porch (only sheer luck that I looked out our bedroom window while that work was being done) and they left our back deck messy with asphalt and nails. Otherwise our property was spotless and I was really impressed with the attention they took to make sure our neighbour's driveway was kept as clear as possible during the work and cleaned up as soon as the roof was done on that side. Anton was a real pleasure to deal with and attended to every concern immediately. When we discovered the ice shield hadn't been put up yet he right away got the workers to remove the shingles they'd placed and attended to the problem. Superb experience - I definitely recommend them. In terms of cost, they were middle of the pack of the 5 quotes we received. I liked that they warranty the work for 10 years (not the purchaser of the work). Gave me a lot of confidence in them.

Really great experience working with Milestone. Took a while to get them in because they are busy, but was happy Dorian was able to squeeze us in sooner than originally though. They completely replaced the old siding and insulbrick at the back of our house and were able to accommodate the addition of fascia into the job at the last minute. They were also very easy going about helping us determine where to place our downspouts and will come back after our new gate is built to improve drainage. I should also mention their quote was the best of all 5 companies we contacted. They left the job site clean and there were no surprise additional costs. Only 2 small complaints I have are that, for whatever reason, Dorian would only reply to emails and calls from my wife. Other very minor complaint - they spray painted some items to match our siding (which was awesome!) but did it on our grass and some paving stones which are now painted gray in a few places which is kind of annoying. Maybe use a garbage bag or yard waste bag underneath next time? Anyway, still totally happy with the job and am looking forward to having them come back next year or year after to re-do the siding at the front of our house. I definitely recommend Milestone.
