Abode Furniture

We purchased some furniture for our new house by end of September in order to get these items by holiday season in Christmas (8-10 weeks). We took some of small items at the time of purchase with us to our home, but the remaining (more than $4000) still have not delivered to us yet. Every time we called him or went to store he promised us for different time and saying that custom order takes longer, but now its April and we did not get anything yet. couple of weeks ago we had to call our credit card company to help us to resolve this problem. we are still working on it. Please do not order anything from this store. Or just pay for what you get in your hand from store. My new home is still partially empty after six months. We are very disappointed with this store

I purchased my furniture on Dec 7th 2010. I was told 6 to 8 weeks.
I received it end of march. And with many problems. My oval glass table was rectangular. My TV console feet were balls instead of cubes. I was told that the chairs back were solid wood. The were plywood and it was cracked. The drawers of my server wouldn't close properly. They wanted the money upfront and then made you wait for the service. The owner was very vague and talked about procedures to follow. I found him very arrogant. Finally I called myself in July the furniture manufacturer and dealt directly with him for my server. It took me less than a week to have the problem fixed. For the chairs... I was lucky that my credit card company accepted to reimburse me and went directly after the merchant. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. And seeing the previous review on that store... I am not surprised.

I spent over $4,000.00 on neoset furniture and was assured that Abode would "take care of me" stating that delivery would take 6 weeks...2 weeks...which turned into 6 MONTHS! All this time waiting and they ordered/delivered the WRONG furniture and refused to give me a breakdown of the costs and my money back which had to be payed before delivery OF THE WRONG FURNITURE IN JUNE. It is now end of October, and i still dont have my furniture or money. Abode and Neoset screens my calls and has refused to talk to me, blaming one against the other. In a desperate attempt to work things out I went to the Abode store only to be seen and told by the manager that he "cannot talk to me" and then threatened to call the police. I have had no choice but to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau and will be taking both Abode and Neoset to small claims court.

I was so impressed by the service at this unique store, by chance i stubled at it in Newmarket...i was in need of an ent unit and they offered a great option i brought my measurents of my space and got a space plan of the room and great storage options, delivery and installaion crew where very good, and free...very happy with the service at the store and with delivery, also great one of a kind accessories that i picked up at sale prices....and i recieved a $50.00 gift cert for referring my friend who also bought in the mail...i was very suprised. Worth the drive to Newmarket.
