Great service, came out same day and first looked at repairing my kitchen faucet but needed to change to a new one. I purchased 2 faucets and I asked his opinion. The result was great and I completely understood his reasoning for the faucet choice. Thank you Peter for taking the time to explain and to get my kitchen washing area back working again. Also for fixing the toilet mechanism. You are always a joy to have in the house.

We found Balsam Plumbing on a Beaches Facebook page. We gave him a call and as soon as they heard we had to shut the water off in the house, he came over within a hour or so. The fix was fast and the price was fair. He is now our 'go to' guy for plumbing in future. A+ job.

Peter replaced a toilet for me within 24 hours of my call. Peter was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I really can't recall the price but I remember thinking it was reasonable. I would recommend him to family without a doubt.

We had a frozen water intake pipe on our dishwasher; we called Balsam and they said they could come out early the next day, so no water in the kitchen over night! Well Peter arrived that same day and with is young apprentice had us up and running prior to dinner. Another happy customer!

We had a couple of household plumbing issues to be taken care of and Balsam was recommended to us. Not only did they fix the main problem, they also provided advice on avoiding further issues.

Since we moved into the Beach a few years ago, Peter has always been our guy when plumbing issues or needs arose. We recently needed to replace a leaky outdoor tap. Peter once again demonstrated why he will always be our plumber.

As expected, he replaced our tap quickly and professionally and explained everything we'd need to know about the water shutoff as well as taking care of the tap and pipe. He then noticed an unused tap at the other end of the house and proactively took a look at that one. He explained that it had been in use (presumably by the previous owners of our home) and the pipe had burst one the winter and was never repaired (the water had been properly shut off when that happened).

When we asked how much extra it would be to repair the second tap, he said that he'd be able to do it within the original timeframe that he'd allotted to the first tap. As a result, there would be no extra charge beyond any new hardware that might be required. In a few more minutes after poking around and repairing pipes in some crawl space, he fixed up that tap.

We now have two working outside taps - one for the front and one for the back – Very pleased!
As usual, Peter went the extra mile - all with a smile, professionalism and great communication. Highly, highly recommend Balsam Plumbing.

The plumber came within twenty-four hours of my call. He spent between one to two hours to fix the problem. The price was as quoted. The plumber also took time to give recommendations on how to prevent similar problems in the future.

We have used Pete numerous times to tackle numerous jobs and renos, this was the biggest job yet.

Three complete bathrooms and a kitchen. Outstanding work, fair prices, great sense of humour and fun .

Over the years we have always called on Peter to fix our problems. We even use him for our company problems. He his friendly, reliable and prompt. He always charges a very fair price. I highly recommend him. He came today at 5 in the evening because we work during the day and worked for 3 hours installing a difficult dishwasher with new pipes in the basement and everything and helped with moving the old dishwasher and only charged us $150. I feel like we ripped HIM off!!

Both Peter and Rod are great to deal with. We are always very satisfied with their work and cleanliness. They respond quickly and have helped us on several occasions with bathroom plumbing and hot water heating systems. Highly recommend.
