Casa One

Casa One worked within our budget and timelines. Peter provided options that worked with our design ideas without compromising on the look. His team tied up each day and showed up when they said they would. Would highly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation, big or small. We will definitely be calling them for future projects!

Casa One did a fantastic job opening up my house and making the space more liveable. Their creative problem solving and diligence ensured the job was done right and on time and on budget. Their helpful suggestions made the house function so much better. Casa is reasonably priced, invoices are easy to understand. Peter and Joe provide insights and advice.

I would definitely work with Casa again

The kitchen cabinets began chipping after a few months, I was told that it was because the cabinet style I chose had sharp corners. After speaking to three other contractors I was told it was because of the wood. When asking what kind of wood I wanted, I asked for something durable that won’t chip as my both my parents and in-laws have this issue. I thought since it was another partner supplying the cabinets it wasn’t their fault. When working on my basement and stairs I saw the same pattern of Having every error made to seem as though it was my fault in order to avoid having to fix it themselves. While the job was done quickly, the quality of work is not there and lots of errors left that I’m stuck having to get another contractor to correct their errors. Lessons learned

Casa One did an excellent job at assessing the work that needed to be done. They provided very helpful suggestions with respect to design and layout of the new first floor kitchen configuration. In addition, they recommended some additional items upfront before the final quote that we had not considered which resulted in a dramatically improved final product. Casa One kept us updated on the progress of the project from a timing and budget prospective. We are pleased to report that both were completed in line with the expectations set. We always felt that the Casa One team could be fully trusted to complete the project on time with high quality. We would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone considering renovation work.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Peter, Joe and the Casa One Team! From the first stages of planning to the very small details by the end of the project, we were not left in the dark, they were with us every step of the way! They were very accommodating to our needs and whenever we would have a doubt and/or query about ANYTHING, they were available to address all of our questions or concerns, guiding us in the right direction and giving recommendations (whether or not they thought it was a good idea!) Communication was great and honesty was on point! We wanted to be very much involved in the process and when it came time to visiting the house throughout at various stages of the renovation, they were very welcoming! We were able to see the quality of work being put in first hand and all within the estimated time frame, even a little bit earlier than expected! Our house went from an untouched closed off 50s space to a modern functional cozy home!

Peter and Joe did an excellent job installing my front door. They were quick and efficient and made sure to clean up after the job was complete. I'm very happy with the work they did - my door looks great.

We've worked with Casa One for over 12 years now on large and small projects. The first job they did for us was to renovate the master bathroom. They made it a beautiful spa. That was 12 years ago. That led to a living room renovation with gorgeous built in cabinets and stonework around our fireplace. After that, we decided to rebuild the entire house (while preserving the work that had already been done). It was a 9 month job, but the results were fabulous. Casa One created an Executive home for my family. They added a second storey, gave us a gourmet kitchen, vaulted ceilings, massive windows, 5 bathrooms, beautiful decks and outside space. We couldn't be happier. This latest work they did for us was to complete everything that was outstanding on the "honey do list" to prepare our home for sale.

We're hopeful that Casa One will be our builder for our next home as well. All in all, they do high quality work with quality materials at reasonable and realistic prices. They have always worked diligently to make sure that we were happy with their work. They can do it all, but they will bring in sub trades as needed. We can't thank them enough for what they've done for us as a family. You won't be disappointed with this company. I trust them.

We did our reno with Joe Cosentino at Casa One in 2008. Him and his team were punctual, considerate, and cleaned up after each day. Our bathroom looked great the first 2 years but then the shower tile grout became stained and I spent a lot of time cleaning, steaming and refreshing the grout. After 5 years now, the shower diverter and lever needed to be changed and we discovered that to fix it we had to break some tile for the diverter and get an extension kit for the lever because the rough-ins were set too far back. We guess that when the rough in was made, he did not compensate for the tile depth. We also had our vent out of the roof insulated recently, we were told by Joe it would cost less to not insulate. But because it wasn't insulated we had water marks showing on the ceiling. We had to fix this. The bathroom reno was our first and most expensive project done to our house. Many lessons learned.
