Does not listen. Leaves tools and materials on new vinyl floor - floor scratched - when drawn attention to this, was affronted. Uses plumbing putty for everything, rather than standard connections. Installed rainshower crooked without checking, broke rainshower connection (one of 4) but did not report. Inslalled sink faucets crookedly and said that is the best they can do. My wife disconnected and connected them straight. Does not use permits. All my connections are a time bomb and I need ro sell the house before one or more of these connections blow. Stay. Away.

Update: The rain shower required transitions from British to Canadian standards. Doty ignored them, used plumbing putty, and now, the rain shower is leaking all the way from second floor to basement level. Thousands of dollars repair needed to remove enclosure, shower tiles, backingboard, new rain shower and new tiles and a real professional plumber.

I have used Mr. Doty on my home and rental. He is prompt, he assesses the problem and corrects the fault. I never get a surprise when I receive the invoice and so I highly recommend his services.

He over charged after saying he will give good deal, used my tools. wasted time traveling many times to truck and supplier, left shoes on GAVE attitude about coming back and finishing !!! "Go to store and get the parts yourself" He didnt have another job that day so he kept touching the same parts over and over and not installing them. He didnt support the shower head of diverter or down spout but said "I put lots of caulking in there to hold it" HE USED MY CAULKING !!!! GO to the next guy!

we have used Dave Doty on more than one occasion. Each time he has been on time and within or less than his original estimate. He leaves his work area clean when he leaves. I would heartily recommend him for small and large plumbing jobx
