Great service and great advice. We had two different clerks and the same level of sevice. Honest price quote and very helpful with all aspects of the job; which was great as we were first-timers. Selection of hardwood not exactly as we hoped but we were happy with what we chose in the end.

French doors were purchased and installed by home depot. Looks good but very drafty. Wind comes right through. Also the door shifted quite soon after installation and was no longer square. now it really has to be pushed hard in order to close. Not very impressed. Next time would have spent more money somewhere else to be satisfied.

This is smaller location but convenient in terms of location. However there is limited number of choices, so for something specific I WOULD NEED TO GO TO A BIGGER location. For a basic construction needs is perfect.

We purchased a floor model microwave. When we got it home we found some parts were missing. This was a problem as we had booked an installation of the unit for the next day. The sales person immediately offered to go to the manufacturer's service office, obtained the parts and ensured everything was available on time. Everything worked out perfectly. Many thanks to the caring staff at the store for their help.

We went to Home Depot with the simple question of 'how do we remove ivy from the side of our house?' Not only did the garden department know the answer but they walked with us around the store to equip us with everything we needed for our DIY weekend project! It was inexpensive but lots of hard work. Our advice is to hire some teens in the neighbourhood to help!

We purchased our materials from our local Home Depot and in a few weeks time, our outdated basement has been fully renovated and looks like a 1 bedroom condo unit!! We replaced the outdated carpet with new slate tiles, repainted the walls, increased the ceiling height, new lighting, new plumbing and new sink! This is now the place to be!

It took me 2.5 hours with Dav (HD assoc) to help me decide on my master bedroom colour. I originally chose "Moonstone" and wanted a dark blue accent wall, though my furniture was dark mohagany. He helped me look at the other colours that I had chosen and told me the tones and the possible variations. After 2.5 hours at home depot, I finally decided what colour I wanted and but still not 100% convinced, but once we had the paint up and the accent coloured walls, we love it. My husband is very glad that I had made the change. The new colours were smoky oyster as the main colour and mountain ridge for the accent wall, the closet doors and the fireplace. All by Behr.

Bought a house with damaged/dirty rug. Contacted Home depot and did all the job: from qoutation, delivery and installation! What made them great is their after sales services. I was delighted by their customer service.

Last summer I got a huge tax refund of $3000 and decided to put some of it towards a new deck for my backyard. I found a great selection of solid wood deck finishes available at my local home depot and the price per foot was reasonable. The best part was the model deck that was showcased was the style I liked alot, so I had an idea of what quality I was getting. The installation staff provided me with various plans to select from and were professional and knowledgable.

Joe at the Gerrard Square paint department was great! I wasn't sure about my colour choices and he really took his time to help me with them and suggested very good colour details and ideas. He also had great advice about the type of paint finishes and tools I needed considering I have old plaster walls. He knew a lot about Victorian homes and renovations in general. Joe also helped me get the most out of the paint rebate promotion that was running at the time.
