I Move Canada

I recently moved from etobicoke to Richmond hill and I hired imove to make it happen. They (Bryan, Mark and Jay) were absolutely fantastic. Polite, gentle with my belongings and really thorough in their work. Nothing was damaged, broken, scratched or dented. I will not only use them again if need be, but I will recommend to friends and family as well.

Just wanted to thank your crew for a job well done. Mark and Jay were fantastic! I have moved 3 times in the past 2 years and this was by far the smoothest move so far. My crew was actually punctual so we made all the scheduled elevator times at both locations ($250 savings compared to my last move), wrapped all my furniture and moved absolutely everything without a single scratch. I am a very happy camper and have already sent my friends as a referral. Oh, and thanks for taking care of my vinyl collection and putting up with the 33 crates that I had! Cheers, Art.

I was referred to iMove by one of our customers earlier this summer when we started planning for our upcoming office/dealership move. Our relocation was to happen over 2 weekends as we had to stay operational to service our customers during the week. Our project was discussed 2 months in advance, we agreed to terms and conditions of service and proceeded as agreed. Plastic moving bins were delivered 3 weeks in adance for us to pack all customer files, accounting department and other paperwork. We were provided with a 53' trailer for our office move and two straight trucks with lift gates for our shop which had heavy equipment and mechanic tools.
Our eight man crew handled the job in a professional manner. The 2 foremen directed everyone and overlooked proper loading. It was a smooth experience and the whole job was completed as planned. Our downtime was reduced thanks to some tips from a project manager assigned by iMove so their previous experience with such jobs certainly came in handy. Truly professional crew.

This is the second time I have used iMove for our relocation needs. After helping declutter our house in June, we finally sold it and were moving to the new one 20km away. Mark and Kevin did an excellent job in packing both trucks and taking care of our furniture, protecting the stairs and our new floors even though it was a long, hot day. Truly A+ service!

Do not use these people! When the truck showed up with a paper sign taped to it's side we should've declined. There was an obvious disconnect between what we had worked out with Andrew and the driver (Denis). Specifically the minimum billing time. Not a big deal in itself. After a phone call to Andrew, this was worked out, however Denis was now disgruntled and seemed very disinterested in proceeding.
Once the truck was loaded we were then informed that some items will now cost more to move. Andrew was previously asked about any 'hidden' costs and said absolutely not. We attempted another call but he would not answer this time. A day later and after several more messages we have yet to receive a reply. We opted to not pay this ransom (which was asked for before any unloading) and told them we would take care of moving those items.
We were supervising this move on behalf of a senior and know he would've been taken advantage of.
The silly thing is that the tip we had allocated for the crew would've blown this shake-down out of the water. When all was said and done it was obvious that they'd never experienced a tip (and didn't this time). They didn't know what one was. To me that speaks volumes. The original goods where stored nice and organized in the storage locker but the pile of mess we now have will take more time to fix than the move. Had they just done a nice job and moved everything, they'd have not only been able to charge an extra hour but gone home with full pockets.
Sometime things happen. I've moved on many occasions and this is my first bad experience - also my first with this company. The worst part however is having someone handle your possessions and walk through your house for two hours who makes you cringe.

I used iMove Canada services twice and I am going to use them again if I move. They are great! First time I moved from Hamilton to Fort McMurray and second time from Fort McMurray to Toronto. Guys were polite and accurate. They wrapped everything up carefully; especially I was impressed with how they wrapped up my couch! Nothing was scratched or messed up. They work really quickly and efficiently! But what I like the most is that they always inform you where your stuff is and when it is going to arrive. Another really good thing about this moving company is they always respond to your call!!! Not like many others who you can never get a hold on. I recommend them to all my friends.

Was completely satisfied with this moving company , they help me and my family with a fairly large move an hour away from my old home in Toronto . Everything went perfect and smooth . The movers we early and were nice and respectful of both houses and everything was moved without any scratches or dents ! Would recommend iMove to anyone !

I'd like to thank Andy and his team for helping us out with a move in Mississauga . Our movers bailed out last minute without notice and we were stuck with a house full of furniture and a move out deadline of 6pm. We were lucky that iMove provided a crew within one hour and didn't try to surcharge us for last minute service. Truly honest and hardworking team. Thank you for your tremendous help!!
