Kp Waterproofing

Exceeded my expectations in quality and results. Basement is now bone dry, smells great, and no more bugs, for first time in years. KP went above and beyond in a tight space.

Last year we discovered water seepage and damage in the house and hired KP Waterproofing to fix the problem by waterproofing around the whole house (a '51 bungalow basement). They scheduled us in within a couple weeks and worked every day on the house until it was done (4 days) and then put the gardens and patio stones back in place. We were extremely happy with their expertise, dedication, and ability to solve the problem. I'm writing this now - over a year later - as it's been raining a lot recently and we keep talking about how grateful we are to have the problem solved. I thought I should share our story.

I am not a specialist but the work delivered was unbelievable good. The price they asked was with more than 30 % less than any other quotes we got.
If you want extremely good quality at a very good price they are the guys you are looking for.

Since 2006 we've used Chris's waterproofing services on internal and external waterproofing including weepers and drain connections. He might take time to get to you because he's busy but the work is worth it. Each of the 3 jobs his guys completed solved our water problems. Their fair pricing and quick work makes the job painless for the homeowner.

Cleanup afterwards is not the best but the team does come back eventually to complete the work and clean up. I'm still waiting for sand to fill in my interlock as promised in Sept. I would highly recommend his work given that competitors can come in with significantly higher quotes for the same job.

We had a significant problem with our basement, there was seepage coming in from the side of the house that required a very extensive repair. Chris and his team did outstanding work. They arrived early each morning and worked through the rain to ensure the job was done properly and efficiently. Their quote was fair and we would highly recommend their services. Their work is excellent and they are truly professional.

This review should have been written earlier. KP waterproofing came to our house last year in October and they truly did a magnificent job. They diagnosed the problem right away (we had flooding in the basement) and they came and waterproofed our entire house. They were hardworking, very friendly, knew exactly what the problem was and did it for much less than what we were quoted from a different company. I have no hesitation in recommending KP waterproofing. They are excellent!!!

I sold my house and the closing date was within a week and a half, then I discovered a moisture issue at one of the corner of the basement and wanted to fix it for the new buyer. KP was able to give me a verbal quote over the phone and was able to accommodate me within his busy schedule by working on July 1st holiday. His crew arrived early in the morning and started to work immediately. They finished the job and cleaned up the area after 5 hours of work. Thank you KP.

We needed to waterproof the back and side walls of our foundation. We got several quotes (for both indoor and outdoor solutions). KP was by far the most reasonable.

Chris was very knowledgeable and courteous. He had good answers to all of my questions. He and his crew started on time and worked very hard, very fast. Chris originally estimated the work would take 3-4 days. But with stormy weather looming, he added another guy to his crew and got it done in 2 days flat. They cleaned everything up perfectly and replaced anything that was disturbed.

In addition to being so efficient, they went way beyond what was required of them. Here's a list of extra things they did at no extra cost:
-filled in a basement window that wasn't being used anymore
-installed a window well and raised the grade off the back wall
-ripped out 3 giant steel cylinders that used to be deck supports (which were cemented in about 5 feet down)
-put in 3 sono tubes before backfilling, to be used for new deck supports
-took away so much junk we wanted rid of. (scrap cement blocks, old clay piping)
-filled a hole in the driveway with crushed stone.. on the other side of the driveway!

Also, Chris was not interested in a deposit of any kind. Once the work is finished, he gets paid. Awesome.
I would definitely recommend KP to anyone needing this kind of work.

Kris and his team were great all around. By the time they were done (in 2 days) you'd swear they'd never been there. Our back deck wasn't an issue for them either, as other companies said we'd have to tear it out. We quoted several places and I doubt you'll get better value anywhere else.

we've used this guys before...they show up and get it done. reliable/tidy/efficient - wouldn't go with anyone else for basement water issues. all the other comments/reviews don't surprise me one bit. Tx very much Chris!
