Replacement dryer

We purchased a clothes dryer and paid 30.00 take away fee. When the delivery guys came they wouldn't take the dryer away unless we paid an additional 30.00 plus tax because the dryer was on a pedestal and they said it was 2 pieces. We won't be furnishing our daughters new home with Leon's. It's the principal of the matter.....price gauging.

Horrible company. DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

HORRIBLE Company. Horrible customer service. Mislead customers on protection plans. Basically they would not replace nor repair your furniture if damaged (without it being your fault) for a reason covered by the protection plan brochure provided at purchase. DO NOT treat customers well. All the whitby location managerial team needs to be revamped and the store closed. I Do NOT recommend Leons products (furniture or appliance) to anyone. Their products look appealing but are of very very poor quality. Noticeable the moment it at your place. Surprisingly their products are pricey but they don't even bother to have a good customer service to compensate the drawback of very poor workmanship on the products . Honestly wish them to go bankrupt and close doors as they don't deserve to be selling products in Canada. Do not display any canadian service wise values. If you do decide to purchase something at Leon's don't say you were not warned. Poor , disgraceful, horrible customer service. AVOID LEONS AT ALL COSTS.

Save your money by buying elsewhere

We needed a fridge because ours stopped working. We went there for the first time and purchased one, we were told they'd drop it off and a third party service which they use, was going to come in a quote how much it'll take, remove the old one, install the new fridge, today. This never happened and won't happen until next week. How long can anyone last without a fridge? We are now over a week. Thanks Leon's. Oh, it happens to be Customer Appreciation Day, what a joke.

Queen bed order and delivery

I am incredibly disappointed in Leon's Whitby. After waiting for almost 3 months for a bed I ordered, I finally got verbal and email confirmation that the bed would be delivered on Friday. My husband took the day off work to wait for said delivery, only to be told on Friday that the delivery would not happen due to them not being able to deliver to our area. I waited on the phone for over 45 minutes for someone to tell me that they don't check the delivery area, but the delivery service does. So, the store confirms the delivery but the delivery service can cancel. Ok, so then what. 45 minutes to be told that we have to reschedule and take another day off. Very poor service. I can't even comment on the bed itself because I don't have it. This entire process has made me never want to purchase from Leon's again. I will purchase the remainder of my furniture from the other stores that have provided me with excellent customer service and client satisfaction.

Take your money and don't honor warranty

Do not purchase here. The worst customer service. Never return calls. They take your money and don't honor there warranty I purchased a bed frame, mattress and mattress protector in order to have a mattress warranty. It was not a cheap purchase either $2300 and the mattress collapsed out the sides. I was told by the salesperson that if I purchased the mattress protector I would have a warranty and replacement of the mattress if problems occured, guaranteed, so I paid the extra for the BEST mattress protector. Within 6 months the mattress was disfigured and after countless emails back and forth I was told to buy particle board and place it under the mattress only then would they replace the mattress. They find any excuse to not replace the mattress it has nothing to do with the bed frame which they sold me with the mattress. I will never buy from Leon's again. Why don't you go buy me the particle board and place it under the mattress? I've spent enough.

Couches

Purchased new couches, washer and dryer in the beginning of September, the rep had said we are to expect the couches in 6 weeks. In October, when we received partial order (the washer and dryer) our rep has called and said the couches will arrive by the end of October. By the middle November, we still didn't receive any calls as to when the couches will arrive. I sent 2 emails to the email address on the invoice with no response back. I then called and was told their internet is down. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to tell me that I should expect the couches by end of November. Today, December 4, I called and the person couldn't even tell me what's going on with my order and asked me to "leave a message" cause she didn't work at Customer Service.

Worst Experience

Generally, I avoid these big box stores at all costs. However our dyer broke and just needed something to hold us over until I had more time to think about what I wanted out of a new set.
I made an order in September (very simple, cheap $600 dryer) and a couple of days later someone called me to tell me that the delivery would be in 6 weeks. After 6 weeks I called the store since I hadn't heard anything and they said it would be another 10 weeks. At that point I asked to cancel the order and the employee did so. Since that phone call, I have not received a credit on my card or any transactional email of the return. And both the stone and home office have been giving me the run around when I call.

Other than accepting my order, I have had no communication from Leons since September 2020 unless I hounded them.

I feel like I've given them an interest free loan at this point and while it was only $600, they refuse to call me back or give me any insight on when I can expect a refund.

I will never return to Leon's and recommend you do your research when working with this company.

Leons whitby

Leons whitby has the worst customer service of any location I've ever dealt with. I would take my chances on wayfair before I ever step foot in leons whitby again. Ive had a problem with the majority of products ive bought.. the dishwasher we just got has numerous dents.. previously the drying machine didn't work.. before that the fabric on the couch didn't match what was in the store.. I got some end of the roll sofa... id have forgiven most incidents if customer service and management had just been more pleasant and accomadating to deal with.

Cheap quality, expensive Futon

got ripped off over $100 wen I returned their cheap quality cardboard futon. Customer service acts like you owe them something just for listening your complaint.
First time purchase from Leon’s, expected better quality, but will most likely be LAST purchase from them. Would NEVER recommend

Horrible delivery service.

Now up to three bad experiences with delivery service or lack of service from Leon's. From rude , to lazy. Was told bed and sofa would be set up ...nope drop and leave. Brutal.
No more LEONS for me.
