Logan Moving And Storage Company No Longer In Business

I can't believe all the reviews I'm seeing. If I saw this beforehand I probably wouldn't have moved with them. But to tell the truth, I'm not upset that I did. They were just a little late to start but once they did, they didn't stop. I'm actually really happy I moved with them because I've moved twice before and was extremely disaapointed with the service I received before from other companies. I hope people aren't discouraged by the other reviews. The guys that came were great, and they did a fine job with my move. Do ask questions before your move though so you are totally informed. Be smart about it. Its your stuff that they are moving.

These Logan Movers have changed their name to Complete Movers Inc...they are still the same scam artists that they were as Logans Movers DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE...Late...hidden costs...rude...unprofessional..and hold your belongings randsom until you pay your bill. They quoted us $540.00...and billed us $1300. We did most of the moving labour ourselves. They sent us the wrong size of truck....we had to leave a quarter of our belongings behind...and arrange for pick up with someone else. They did not complete the move. One of the movers sat in the truck the whole time and smoked cigarettes.DO NOT HIRE COMPLETE MOVERS INC....THEY ARE A BIG RIPP OFF....They put our family through absolute HELL.

I was extremely disappointed in the service rendered by this company. The movers were late in arrival (approx. 2 Hrs) and the owner, George was extremely rude. He lack professionalism. He was very dishonest. He had verbally quoted me $40/hour. I had informed him the items to be moved, pick up location and drop off address. He had given the movers the incorrect address, the items to be moved and the quoted amount. Upon receiving my bill, I was shocked to receive a bill for $327.70 for a ~2 hour job. I refused to pay it then he threatened to hold the items for nonpayment. George was verbally abusive upon discussing with him the verbal agreement/contract. He swore and hung up on me x2. He was extremely abusive to his movers when they had called him to discuss my concern re: the bill.I would not recommend this company. This company should not be operating and should be out of business.
Warning to ALL potential clients- READ THE CONTRACT/OR ANY PAPERS PRESENTED BY THE COMPANY/MOVERS BEFORE SIGNING. Infact, do not use this company.

I was also scammed this past weekend by L&G. everything sounded great when i spoke with the guy before hand and very quickly turned into my worst nightmare!!
They arrive 5 hours late, we waited around all day while the guy ignored his phone! he only answered if we called from another phone. They did not bring any supplies i was promised, the guys looked at me like i was crazy when i ask him where my picture boxes were.
They arrived at 4:00 pm and at 6:30 they tried to make me pay a bill for 7 hours!!! they were putting all of my stuff in storage and the movers didn't have access to the unit. by the time "owner" (crazy guy that sounds like a female) arrived we had waited over an hour and of course he couldn't get in either!!
The guy called me every name in the book and told me he was going to throw my stuff at the side of the road if we didn't pay his crazy bill!
we eventually argued him down to 5 hours (on a three hour move) and he tried to make us pay on a machine that doesn't show you the amount.
Its been 5 days since this ordeal and we still don't have access to any of our stuff or our storage unit

sounds like i'm not the only one out there that will tell the same story..these guys need to be stopped!! I plan on going to consumer alert to have these guys exposed if you would like to support me feel free to contact me

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They also use the name L&G Movers and Complete Movers. They do not show up when they say they will, they were untruthful about where my things were and when I would get them, they seriously damaged my things, they lost A LOT of my stuff during storage, they moved without notification, they hang up the phone when you call, they have TERRIBLE storage facilities and DO NOT honour your contract in far too many ways to list here. This is the worst moving and storage company you could ever choose. It has put me and my family through absolute hell - I would not wish this suffering on anyone. Please avoid them for your own good.

I was quoted 60/hour, minimum 2 hours plus 1 hour travel time. The move took just over 2 hours. I was presented with a bill for 6 hours and an additional 40$ for "lifting a heavy piece of furniture. When I refused to pay, they drove away with my furniture. I will have to go to small claims court to get it back. I intend to start this acdtion and I would like to hear of others who have had the same experience, to participate in teaching these disreputable people a lesson.

TERRIBLE MOVING COMPANY !!! Where do I even begin? Well, how about that despite calling the day before to confirm my booking, they somehow managed to "lose" my order. So when I called them asking where they were, in a panic it sounded like he had to send their "back-up" guys. They were 2 hours late, took way too long to move my stuff, cut up my furniture, AND upon handing me my bill, I just about fell over, as the original quote that I was given had all of a sudden doubled . *** BE ADVISED: They charge you "PER STEP" too (up & down and per person), so if you live somewhere with lots of steps, be forewarned!!!!! AND many more hidden costs **** Absolutely horrible service. Will never recommend them to anyone.

i hired logan moving and storage to move my stuff from ottawa to toronto.because of elevator booking i asked them to be in ottawa at9.00am in the morning. they said fine. i was worried if they were gonna make it. but these guys left at 3.30am in the morning to get on time in ottawa. they were full of energy and polite singing songs in there language. i had to pay only $950/- for whole move where another companies were quoting me $2000 to $2500/- i love these guys and respect their hard work.

Very poor and unprofessional service, were late by two hours, hung up on inquiring, overcharged much more than what have been told on phone while booking. I would strongly advice against hiring this mover. if you have no other choice make sure that you get everything in writing beforehand to avoid nasty surprises

Contracted small next day move by phone with LOGAN MOVERS aka L&G MOVERS. Their website claims experienced staff and 24/7 service. I called 3 hours prior to move to confirm I would be at pick up site at the appointed time. They didn't show. I called head office and was promised movers would be there in 10 - 15 minutes. They didn't show. Another call was met with surprise that movers weren't there and a promise of a call back in 10 minutes. No show, no call. Now 2 hours late, they stopped answering all of 3 phone numbers I had been given. No one ever called back despite knowing I was waiting for them at the pick up site. Don't waste your time calling these turkeys.
