Interior Excavation and trap replacement
After an initial visit from Roy in which he helped us locate our interior trap via a scope search and snaked our drain, roy had informed us that the problem could return as he noticed our trap and drain pipes were off-set. His snake could only get so far out. While water was flowing better he did not know if the fix would remain permanent of for how long. While this may not sound like a great diagnosis I was grateful for his honesty. At the time he let us know that the solution would involve excavating the basement inside the house. He quoted me an approximate price as a best guess which was much cheaper (probably a 1/3 of what competitors would have charged) and was extremely honest about what needed to be done, what the problem likely was and the amount of work involved.
Unfortunately the problem returned about 3 weeks later and drains in my basement were backing up again. Roy returned and snaked again as a temporary fix. He noticed mud and was sure the trap was shot and the pipe likely collapsed. He phoned his contacts to see the cost and availability for them to fix the problem. Within 5 minutes he had a quote for me (at half the cost of his original estimated costs) and we had his team in for 8:30 am the next morning.
Honesty, Great pricing, Efficient and accounable.
Roy saved us a lot of money, time and headaches.
His team made a surprisingly small hold, fixed the pipe in a shorter time than expected and were relatively clean considering the work that was done. On top of that, they snaked the new pipe right out to the city line to assure me there would not be additional problems and that there were no roots in the pipe.
Thanks again Roy. I have already and will continue to recommend you to anyone in need of service.
