Bran serviced our air-conditioner and was profession, polite and kind. He explained what was wrong with the unit and what needed to be replaced, showing us the old part after replacing it with a new one. I would certainly recommend McKinnon Heating and Cooling.

My neighbours recommended McKinnon after I explained the YEARS of grief I have experienced with my furnace and AC. Unfortunately, when I renovated my house 8 years ago, I fell prey to a company that went bankrupt within a month and left me with expensive and malfunctioning equipment. The system was supposedly repaired by other companies that cost a fortune but did nothing to improve the problem. My house continued to overheat terribly in the summer and the winters were always cold and I needed space heaters.
From the moment I called McKinnon, I felt relief. The office staff are delightful and efficient. The owner, Michael, met me on a Saturday and methodically explained the issues with the system. He was friendly and excellent at communicating the problems and solutions. I decided to get a new furnace and AC. It was 100% necessary. The technicians who did the work were experienced, professional, friendly, informative and tidy. Great job! Very highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience with Mckinnon in taking this big step of installing a heat pump system in our old Toronto home. Michael gave us clear and friendly advice and the install was quick and efficiently done as outlined. We are extremely happy with the result.

4 Men came in to help us replace the AC unit in out stacked townhome building - its working perfectly right now and the experience was great. We had a shelf and washer and dryer in the way which they moved carefully even though it would have been easier to just break down our shelf due to where it was located - but they take pride and patience in doing their job. Left the place clean, and the team worked like a well oiled machine. I would recommend them for their services again.

We hired Mckinnon for our annual HVAC maintenance based on their expertise and excellent communications. For this call (AC cleaning and test) the technician showed up on time, efficient and very polite and pleasant. My only recommendation would be for the company to look into getting the techs ladders that can work in odd staircases (our has pie treads) which make it challenging to set up and reach the head. Fortunately I had my own to make use of.

Michael and his team were great as always! Installed in 2 days at a great price. Very happy with our new units. Let the heat and humidity come!

Just had McKinnon install a 3-zone heat pump with floor mounted air handlers. We ran into some installation issues, but the team of installer took their time to consider all options and were thoughtful and careful in their execution. We have been customer of McKinnon for over ten years and will continue to be in the future. Highly recommended.
