In the end I chose to go with reupholstery but I had an excellent experience with Lisa and Susan, who went out of their way to explain the processes. I was very impressed with the workmanship of the slip covers on display and the fabric selection. I highly recommend Potato Skins on their customer service alone.

The made to measure slip covers which are cut and constructed by the in house seamstress are fabulous / excellent work. I had various covers made to measure including dining chairs, ottoman, wing chairs, love seat and giant sofa. If you can dig deep in your pockets and you partial to natural fibres, the 100% linen is beautiful. Washes in cold water - and fit on furniture damp...results are beautiful... and almost appear to be professionally pressed when dry. Owner of twenty some yr. company is is fabulous and takes pride in her work. Very attentive top customer satisfaction.

I first went to Potato Skins 8 years ago for a small job and was very impressed with their service and workmanship...I went back again 8 years later because I was so pleased with the first time, and as this was a bigger job and I felt I needed more help, they were wonderful with advice re: fabrics to match decor, excellent workmanship and very quickly finished, and they gave an excellent description on how to actually put the slipcover on my furniture (it can be complicated!) and gave me lots of photos and details on how to do this with minimal hassle. They also provided me with full instructions on care, and just really great, friendly service and excellent quality!

They were excellent because they had quality materials. The staff was helpful and insightful and I would recommend them to friends and family. The slip covers were superior to any competitors out there now!

Custom slipcovers for two throw cushions for livingroom chesterfield. (Used my own down cushions.) Potato Skins offers a limited selection of high quality fabrics to choose from. Received great advice on selecting fabric and accent piping for cushions that would work well with my chesterfield. Great quality nice hidden zippers. Have a small livingroom and they really made a great difference!
