Doug and Patrick did a phenomenal job restoring the front porch and upper gable on our 130 year old property. Due to the age and methods used constructing this house, the restoration required many specialities and a delicate hand and the finished product is unbelievable.

We hired Quality Restorations to do a straight forward rebuild / stabilization of a porch on our Victorian semi in downtown Toronto (plus a new fence). Doug was a no-nonsense type of contractor and was clear and upfront. He delivered what he said he would and his price was fair and competitive. We had a couple of change orders required and Doug was always clear on why and how much - and always sought our approval before advancing work. No surprises. Patrick his carpenter was courteous and clean and did a great job. He got the job done in a reasonable time period and made sure we were happy. We hired Quality Restorations & Renovations to restore our 1914 original front porch. The crew were professional and friendly- they custom built a lot of the components of the porch railing to match the existing and arrived with the pieces painted and ready for installation which made the install as efficient as possible.

We had been set-up as a potential of another very unscrupulous company who had left us with siding poorly removed and a mess of the back of our house. We called Doug and his crew who arrived very quickly, and surveyed the damage. We built two homes (the first half of the construction was during the pandemic) and Doug and his team were the most: (1) responsive, (2) clear communicators, (3) timely, (4) on budget, and (5) precise people we dealt with. What is more, when we were struggling to get our occupancy certificate because another trade didnt do their job, Doug and Patrick stepped in, no questions asked, charged us almost nothing for the fix, and help ensure we were able to get our occupancy on time for the move.
