Our small home and growing family needed help. Tom from Stormhaven came in with great ideas for cost-effective storage and living space in our unfinished basement. He produced detailed drawings and quote and he got to work.

Our formerly cold basement is now an insulated space with cozy family room, office, laundry and storage areas, and a bathroom. Tom was prompt, organized and tidy. The job was completed on time and on budget. Our friends and neighbours are asking for Stormhaven's phone number now!

Renovation made easy as 1, 2, 3. No only did we receive a very good service, we were given post-service treatment. He (Tom) presented a very well presented outline/sketch of how our home office will look like and I must say, our family was just impressed. I think we will be working at home more often.

Our backyard deck project became a reality when the guys at Stormhaven combined our ideas with their skills and attention to detail to build us the backyard retreat we were looking for. Tidy, timely and professional in all aspects of the project. We'll use Stormhaven again!

We needed our stairs repaired and the rickety railings replaced. Stormhaven’s quote was the most detailed, explaining clearly what work would be done and why it needed to be done. When we couldn’t find a spindle and post style that we liked, Tom custom-made them for us, and they are better then we could have imagined! Now our stairway and landing are beautiful and safe. We'll definitely hire Tom and his team again.

Tom offers his services free of charge to East York Community Garden, as our official Garden Engineer. He dug, tilled, installed a watering system, gates and growing structures, and kept everything running smoothly all season for 40 gardeners. Now he is designing raised beds so that seniors can be more actively involved in the garden. Our community garden would not be as successful or enjoyable if it wasn't for Tom's creative problem-solving and hard work.

Tom really listened to what we needed, and provided detailed drawings to help us visualize the end result for our home office. It involved tearing out a useless closet and custom building a new one, then creating a built-in desk area and shelves. He created more workspace and storage for us than we ever imagined posssible - and the price was right!

Tom is reliable and very detail oriented. He has repaired a fallen down fence at a time when I could not afford to replace it, it is solid. It needed to be done quickly as I have two dogs!! He worked long hours until the job was finished. He is also extremely savvy in seeking out quality material at a low cost where he can.
He helped me find a $400.00 storm door and it only cost me $100.00. He does keep your budget in mind and the work he does is excellent.
