I bought 15k of appliances, and was recommended to purchase a very expensive extended warranty from Comeraco

The extended warranty recommended by Gomans ,, "Comerco" is not worth a penny.. They do not provide warranty, only frustrated customers who get NOTHING,,for big bucks paid for a warranty.
65 DAYs. I have NO wall oven, waiting for PART!! I'm so disgusted that Gomans who has backed this dishonest insurance Co.
It will probably cost me 3k as I sold my house and do not have a working DACOR wall oven.

Appliances for our newly renovated condo

Our salesperson, Pierre Jamil was very helpful & knowledgeable. He took a lot of time explaining & telling us differences in models & research what is available. He was always accommodating with his time.
The delivery man, and I'm sorry I don't remember his name, was on time & called ahead as requested. He was very careful with the deliveries noting that the condo is newly renovated. We were happy with the service. But, we are not happy with Kitchenaids service people.we had some problem in our previous home & they scratched our newly renovated kitchen few years back

Goemans appliance Company provides the worse service

Let me do you all a big favour so you won't go through the horrific service we have gone through with Goemans appliances

They will sell you appliances and tell you how fantastic their service is. Forget about it, their service is non existent

If something goes wrong with your appliance they will NOT stand behind it.

In fact they will make your life difficult . This is what they do best. Instead of providing customer service they are keen on stalling you, making excuses, and doing everything possible to not provide you with the service that you require from defective product.

They delivered me a wall oven that was not working the time it was delivered.We called and they said they would send a technician and they never did. What Goemans does is avoid everything possible to please and do right by the customer. They have acquired skills in avoidance and doing everything possible to inconvenience you and not replace or fix your defective appliance.

Four weeks later after dozens of calls and them hanging up on us for merely asking for a replacement. They gave us the OLD RUN AROUND and they are so good at that. This company from the top down instructs their employees to never replace or fix your broken or defective appliance. They are so good at that and really they do not care about the customer once they have sold you the appliance. They do the opposite of what you expect a good company to do. They seem to pride themselves on avoiding any service at all after they sell you the product.They will do everything and anything to not provide satisfactory customer service.

We were without an oven for 2 months !!!!!

They would not stand behind their product. It was not until Jenn Air from head office in Michigan stepped in and ordered them to replace our oven immediately.

OHHH it gets worse!!!!!

They were so vengeful that on delivery day they delivered it and then proclaimed that the existing oven was not placed outside the door. So they took the new oven back and refused delivery. They refused to come in the house to take the oven away and replace it. So they left without delivering the exchange oven that was given to then by Jenn Air in the USA. I am not sure how they get away with such policies. They have obviously become proficient at providing ZERO customer service. They literally go out of their way to aggravate you, inconvenience you and hope you will just go away. Their stalling tactics are clearly obvious judging from my experiences with them.

They are such a poor company with Zero customer service and proficiency in selling you a product and then not standing behind it. I have never experienced any other company that uses these tactics but Goemans. Stay clear away from this company. You are better off buying appliances anywhere else but here to avoid these bad experiences. Its not worth the aggravation believe you me...

Dealing with Goemans was a total NIGHTMARE

I am doing you all a favour.

I have no vested interest but to warn you all and tell you the TRUTH about Goemans based on personal experience and spending over $35,000 of appliances and getting zero customer service.

Range, Hood, Fridge & speed oven

Emad at Goeman's Mississauga has been very helpful. And when he was busy, Carl stepped in to answer our questions.

Very hard to find Dacor or Monogram elsewhere. Patient listening and good pricing is of utmost importance in a sales rep. In the end, Emad kept track of the best deals for me and helped me time my purchase to take advantage of rebates. He even answered my questions by email and cell # since it was not easy to come into the store!

Incidentally, now that my Vent-a-Hood has been installed and I have used it while roasting on high heat, I can advise that it is not as powerful as I expected. I had a Zephyr in the past, which I long for. Honestly, my Panasonic microwave had an exhaust which was pretty amazing now that I am comparing it to a supposedly "professional" hood. I do not think Emad could have acquired my specialized knowledge on exhausts so I don't fault him at all.

Goemans appliances should work on improving the quality and reliability of their customer service department. Once you have given them your payment they are absolutely not taking care of you . You will be in contact with their customer service department who says one thing and does another, lack of follow up; and this is for appliances that are within my one year warranty!!! Should have went elsewhere.

New gas range doesn't work - 3 weeks and counting

We purchased 3 appliances from Gormans in Mississauga. Since delivery, the gas range has never worked. Gorman's failed to escalate this matter, then when the first technician showed up, they seemed to have no idea what was needed, took pictures and left. In frustration, I went to the store to see the manager - he left for the day so I asked him to call when he came in. I had to call 3 times before I could get a hold of him.

The manager said he was responsible for the store, and as before, was referred to thier service team. It seems that after a week, no one had ordered parts needed for the repair, so Christmas plans were cancelled here. Thank you Gormans.

Now into the third week, a second technician showed up, replaced the circuit board which is apperantly the cause of the error code on the oven display, but not mentioned by the previous technician.

The oven still doesn't work.

The technician showed up late in the day and couldn't get a hold of tech support at Frigidaire, so he left.

Obviously this thing is disfunctional, and remains so after two repair attempts. I would like the unit replaced with a new one that actually works. This is rediculous.

UPDATE:

It's late January. The range has been replaced, with the manufacturer covering costs for disconnection and reconnection of gas as well.

While I understand there is a process in place to deal with equipment problems, reaction here was slow and involved two failed attempts at repair.

It's done. Finally.

Goemans Mississauga

I couldn't be more happy purchasing my appliances at Goemas.
The salesman, Pierre, was very polite and helpful. With so many options to choose from, he was very patient and gave us a lot of important information about each appliance, ensuring that we bought the right product. Even after we made the purchase, they matched any sale or better price that we saw in other stores, I just had to call Pierre and he sent new invoices with the discount. All the products arrived at the date arranged and in perfect condition.

Customer service disaster

I purchased a Fisher&Paykel 2 drawer dishwasher in August of this year. On December 2nd, while I was loading dishes into the top drawer, one of the plastic dividers broke. Upon further investigation, it was apparent that several other dividers were also faulty. I called Goemans Mississauga where I had purchased this product and spoke to Suzy in Customer service. She told me a service rep would be. calling me within 2 days to book a service call. As I had heard nothing I called Goemans. customer service yesterday and left a message. I was told to expect a response within 24 hours.
Not so.
I called today and spoke to Gregory in Customer
service and he indeed checked back and verified that an email was indeed sent to
HARGTA. He told me he would resend the email
and also gave me the phone number for
HARGTA. I called them and they told me they
had no record of the email. I was told a
'Tammy' would check and call me later in the
day. Nada.
I called head office and they directed me to
Jennifer in the customer service department
and I left her a message. Nada. I called Gregory
back and he said he would investigate. At my
request he forwarded me the original email
which I received no problem.
As of now I have heard nothing.
Let me add that I spent over $10000.00 at
Goemans plus getting the extended warranty on
these products.
I would appreciate the resolution of the above.
My invoice # is M00075004.
I would also forward you the initial email sent if that would expedite this matter.

Appliance - Installation Disaster - Be Very Careful

I purchased a range, fridge, hood fan, dishwasher and microwave + surround kit. Service at the store was top quality. Sales person was polite, helpful and seemed well informed. The problems started to occurred after purchase and before appliance delivery. The first item problem was with the microwave surround kit. Sales rep suggested the 27’ as it was in the store and gave the appearance to more compact (he was aware of my kitchen design and dimensions). When the Goeman’s installer arrived, and opened the box, the first thing he mentioned is that the kit would not fit the existing opening for the microwave, only the 30’ kit would fit. 50% restocking fee charge to take back the kit back and had to purchase the 30’ kit. Second item that was of unsatisfactory. The installer advised that to complete hood fan installation additional work was need to the existing vent. This resulted in the stainless-steel extension piece was of no use as this items needed a reducer and took up too much space. This item was not returnable or even eligible for a restocking fee charge. This item is still in the box, unopened as per factory. An alternate date of installation was arranged and on that day, the installer concluded that the additional work could not be done as previously suggested. An additional week of delays due to what appears to be unprofessionalism at the company level and third party service installers. ****My Recommendation to anyone is to ensure you have every little detail perfect or it will cost you hundreds of dollars in restocking fees and items that you cannot use. ***My mistake was not reading the very low reviews rankings on this website. ***This is a costly learning experience***

+DO NOT GO HERE+
If you are spending thousands of dollars on appliances i would avoid this store at all costs, they have a HORRIBLE customer service, extremely rude sales reps, and the store manager doesn't care to make customer happy. You are way way better off going elsewhere.

AVOID THIS STORE!

goemans you will loose so much business because of your rude and careless staff. Its pathetic.
