We had our full roof replaced (flat roof, shingles, skylight). John provided a free estimate by going on the roof, taking photos, and clearly explaining what would need to be done. There were no hidden surprises throughout the process. He provided photos of the completed roof, and it looks great. His team was punctual, communicative, and professional throughout the renovation.

They install a good roof and they are professional. I am not sure what else to say. Hard to comment on how the roof will last a few weeks after installation but it seems good.

John and his team did our flat roof, shingle roof, and eaves. From the get go, I wanted to go with John to do this big job. He did a comprehensive look at our roof, was honest and to the point, is locally based with experience of century homes, and has a team filled with family members and other folks he trusts. Compared to other roofers, John's quote was the most reasonable and gave us the most security in case anything went wrong.

The team did an immaculate job. The roof (flat + shingles) both look great, as do the eaves. But we also just had a really great experience. The team cleaned up every night before they left and ensured that there was no debris in our yard or in our neighbours'. They were quick on the job, gave us regular updates, and sent photo updates as they worked.

I would absolutely recommend anyone call John and his team for your roofing needs.

John and his team did a fantastic job on our flat roof. We had some water coming in. They did an emergency fix to hold us over until they had availability to come and do a complete replacement. Left zero mess, were super pleasant to work with, and the roof has been holding strong since. Would highly recommend for work again!

J Stewart roofing replaced a flat roof on our back extension. Water was pooling on the roof, and they added a slight slope to help with drainage.
The quote was reasonable, the work was done well and on time, and communication was good.
I'm happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone looking for similar work done.

Our experience with this company was AMAZING from start to finish! They started when they said they would and worked efficiently and we had a new roof in 2 days. The site was left immaculate!! Pictures were taken along the way so that we were able to see what was being done which was very helpful. We couldn't be happier and we would highly recommend this company!! All the best.

John at J Stewart Roofing was so amazing to work with. We knew we had water coming in slowly from the back part of our house but didn't know where it was coming from. We thought is was our flat roof but John mentioned it looked OK for now and let us know of a few other problem areas. To give us peace of mind, we decided to fix those areas (like a poorly constructed Chimney) and also replace the flat roof.
John and his crew showed up on time, completed the job in the timeframe we agreed on and he even fixed a few more things at no extra charge (taking a satellite dish off the roof we no longer used for example).

I will only use John for anything roof related going forward and would recommend him to anyone!

I contacted J Stewart Roofing along with three other well rated companies to estimate on removing my existing cedar shingle roof, replacing it with asphalt shingles and replacing two skylights. Their estimate was competitive with the other companies. What set them apart was their more detailed estimate, longer warranty, and their total number of positive reviews. The work crew showed up within the estimated time, were respectful, hardworking, knowledgeable, skilled and did a good job of cleaning up. The estimate turned out to be accurate upon billing. Near the end of the project I noticed a bit of flashing that could look better and noted it with John, the owner. He showed up that same day to have a look and very quickly had his crew back to touch it up. I couldn't be happier with the entire project start to finish. The roof looks great and we've had several compliments from neighbours.
