I recently hired J Stewart Roofing to replace the flat roof on my home.
Communication was great from the start, temporary repairs were made until the job could be scheduled, once on site the job was completed when promised, on budget and the team left the site very clean. John is professional and knowledgeable and takes time to explain all available options. I would highly recommend John and his team to anyone looking for a roofing company!

We noticed a patch of plaster in our home that might be caused by moisture. I called J. Stewart Roofing as they did such good work for us on redoing our garage flat roof a few years ago. Even though our house roof was done by another company, John Stewart responded promptly and provided an inspection the next day. After checking both inside and out, John assured us that the irregular plaster was not caused by moisture as the roof looked good. He advised us to take a photo and monitor the area for changes and to call him if necessary. It's good to know that we have a good roofing company we can trust.

John and his team installed an excellent EnergyStar roof on our 1910 Riverdale house several years ago. Thanks to the new roof's low emissive rating, our attic cooled accordingly during the summer compered with our old roof. However, on two occasions over the past year shingles came loose on one dormer. I called John both times, and he showed up with a long ladder and reattached the shingles, no questions asked. He did not charge us. The guarantee on the roof proved solid. I would highly recommend John and his team, especially for roofing jobs in the east end of Toronto.

Couldn't be happier with the service provided by James and his team. Extremely professional, neat and very aware of and careful with the impact to our neighbours (our houses are so close together that they needed to access by both neighbours properties). My neighbours concerns were addressed and they had no complaints about how the crew conducted themselves or how their properties were left. That to me was gold. The roof of our house is all angles and levels, James took the time to photograph and explain what was needed. His crew was very professional and a delight to deal with. Very pleased with the timeliness and quality of the work. Would definitely recommend.

John Stewart Roofing re-shingled the peak of our 1923 semi-detached and it was a pleasure. Getting a quote was no problem and it was Mr. Stewart who came out to do it. Dan and crew showed up on time and were professional and polite. When I got home the driveway was clean and we're not roofers but everything looks okay from what we can tell. John gave us some helpful advice on another, unrelated issue with some of our other eaves troughs. I would recommend J.Stewart roofing any time.

The job was done quickly and professionally. The guys were very respectful of my neighbours property and cleaned up. It did not look like a roof had just been replaced when they were done.
