This was definitely a unique job - tight location, very tall house (over 40 feet) , flat roof, extra large skylight & no ladder access from street . It needed some unique solutions including a crane to lift materials. John took the time to consider the multitude of requirements before submitting a quote. His team was excellent, he was there daily and guided me through lots of items in advance to ensure a smooth running job. They started when they they said would , (after covid delay), worked long hours and never rushed or cut corners. Very happy with end results.

I highly recommended this roofing company. The team has a very highly professional ethics and did a very best job for the clients. Very very best and professional team work and spirit completed for the customers.

J. Stewart Roofing was friendly and professional. His employees were very diligent, took few breaks and worked more than a full day every day. The job took 3 days, which is what we were told it would. The owner came to help on the last day. He worked along side his crew and made sure all was done as promised. If you have any roofing needs by all means call him. He does excellent work!

Showed up on time, very pleasant and professional workmen, the roof looks great, and my outside area has never been so clean, would recommend these guys to anyone in a heartbeat. Thanks John great job.

I sent an email to John and he was very responsive. He made arrangements to come by and assess the job. He reviewed the materials he would use with us and left us with some shingle samples. We needed to have some repair work done prior to the shingling. Once that was complete, he quickly arranged for his crew to come out and shingle our house, detached garage and garden shed. The crew and bin arrived promptly at 8am. By the next afternoon, the job was complete. It looks fantastic and the clean up was excellent! Thanks John and crew!

We did not have a good experience with them. They took several days to complete the roofing with delays as they apparently fired the guys who worked on our roof mid-way. That did not instil confidence about the quality of work done. The bin with the old roofing stayed in our driveway for 9 days. You can imagine with a one car garage how inconvenient it was to park our cars. The guys who worked on the roof played loud music, threw cigarette butts from the roof onto the side of the house and left many nails we had to pick up. The owner ended up finishing up the rest of the roofing job. We asked the owner to come back to fix a few things we found. They did come and fix it before payment. Overall it was not a good experience.

I discovered at the end of the summer that the singles on my roof needed to be replaced. On the HomeStars website, I contacted 5 companies in my area that showed high ratings to give me a quote for a roof replacement. After receiving all the quotes, I felt confident in choosing J. Stewart Roofing Ltd. John's pricing was comparable plus the only roofing company to provide pictures. As a home owner knowing that I would not be able to go on the roof, seeing these pictures was very important as it validated the job was completed. The work crew were very friendly, professional and took care to clean the area up each day. John indicated anytime in the future if I have any questions or concerns to send an email and he will help me anyway he can. I would highly recommend J.Stewart Roofing Ltd. to my family and friends.
