We had done a major gut renovation on a new (old) house, but hadn't replaced the roof. A few months after moving in we noticed some water spots in our ceilings, but things really escalated on the night before our wedding, when we came home from our rehearsal dinner to water pouring from the pot lights in our master bedroom! John was able to come over the very next day to do a quick fix, and wasn't fazed by a whole gang of bridesmaids and me in full wedding dress. Our 20+ year old roof was leaking. We live in a semi-detached house. Our neighbours decided to have their roof replaced at the same time. We got 3 quotes from 3 different companies. John's quote was the most affordable. I was glad because I was hoping to use his company anyway. They did my brother's roof as well as my mother's. John came right away and put a tarp on our roof to stop the leak. He was helpful, pleasant and professional. He took a lot of pictures of our roof to show us what we were dealing with. He stayed in contact and was always easy to reach. The crew did a great job. They were prompt, pleasant, flexible, and worked very hard (10+ hour days). They did a great job with cleanup. Our roof is beautiful, and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company!

I was looking for someone to repair my flat garage roof. While I was shopping I saw John's truck with his phone #. I set up and appointment & John came over to my home in a couple of days and gave me a quote. The last time I had the roof repaired was 30 yrs ago. I received a couple more quotes. John's cost wasn 't the lowest but wasn't the highest either.
John & his crew arrived as soon as weather permitted and were very friendly & professional. I am very pleased with their work.

John and his team were very professional and courteous throughout our experience. From the quote, through planning the job, and following up afterwards, John was very professional and helpful as my main contact. His team worked fast to remove the shingles and install the new ones with as minimal disruption as possible and they did an excellent job of cleaning up the worksite afterwards. To date, we've had no problems with the roof and we feel the quality of the product and the workmanship were excellent. Thanks John for doing a great job.

John and his team did a great job replacing our old roof last fall. There were actually two types of roofs to replace - one was flat with a skylight and the other was a steep shingle with lots of valleys and angles - certainly not a straightforward job. John impressed us firstly by climbing up on the roof on a very hot day and taking photos of the old roof so we were able to see the extent of the wear and tear on our existing roof and why we needed a new one. He recommended a particular brand of shingle and helped us choose a colour. While John's quote was not the cheapest or the dearest of the 5 quotes we obtained, we felt very confident he would do a professional job on this challenging roof replacement as his quote was thorough and detailed. John's team were quiet and personable and did a good job of cleaning up at the end of each day. John provided photos every couple of days of the progress of the roof replacement. We also were very thankful that John was able to finish the job by our deadline (we were going away). I have recommended John to a couple of friends and would be happy to do so again.

We were very happy with John and his entire group. We had a tricky section of roof which required quite a bit of care and was difficult and we were pleased he agreed to take it on. Communication with this company was easy and the price reasonable.

We discovered a water damaged ceiling in one of our 5 bedrooms & a leak above the grand piano on our landing. Stewart Roofing immediately responded, successfully tarped & subsequently replaced a large section of shingles & 2 flats. The workers were very professional completing the work on time & on estimate

We had our roof and bay window membrane replaced on a 2 1/2 story century home. John was very helpful in explaining the quality of the singles and the new underlay system. He took pictures of the roof before and after which we found very helpful in identifying areas that needed attention. and subsequently completed. The crew were very professional and took care to clean up each day. We would certainly recommend J Stewart Roofing.

We had a great experience working with John from J. Stewart Roofing. Early in the spring, we had discovered a leak in one corner of our house. Our roof was fairly new, but we didn’t know who had done the job since we had only recently purchased the house. We called J. Stewart roofing and John came over within a couple of days with a ladder and camera to show us the problem we were having. He was very thorough with his explanation and gave us a very reasonable quote for the work to be done. We decided to work with him after getting a few quotes and are so happy we did. He showed us pictures comparing the work before and after and we have been leak-free for months. Highly recommend.

John promptly gave us a reasonable quote, scheduled us within a couple of weeks. The crew was very professional, hardworking and overall they did a great job.
