STAY AWAY!!! This has been the worst experience buying anything in my life. I called into Loyal Seal windows & doors Inc and had Matt provide me with quote. The price seemed high but I decided to move forward and provided a deposit. A couple days later I had a technical measurement done and they realized that they forgot a window. This would of course increase the overall cost. I was very surprised and wanted to think about the decision. A couple days later, I sent the company an email canceling the order (less than 10 business days) and the company now refuses to return my deposit. They sent me a long letter saying they have done all this work to complete my estimate and want to charge me thousands of dollars to cancel the job. I have proof of everything and will have to end up taking them to small claims court. Please be careful with who you give your money to. These people are absolute untrustworthy

Hi Ajay,
We are sorry to hear that your experience with Matt and our company as a whole has not been pleasant.
That being said, there are a few things to address regarding your review. Our sales representatives rely on the homeowner to show them the specific windows and doors which they would like replaced. They only measure windows and/or doors which are presented to them, and then transfer the rough measurements from the quote sheet to the formal agreement. This practice is done with the intention to ensure no windows or doors are missed. Once the agreement is written out, the salesperson reviews each and every line item with the purchaser as a secondary failsafe method to ensure nothing is missing. Only thereafter is the purchaser asked to sign the agreement.
According to the agreement that we have for your project, nothing is missing. When the measurement technician arrived, he measured all that appeared on the agreement and work order. At that time, it was discovered that you wished to replace an additional window. You were not happy with the proposed price to add this window, so we tried (in person) to come to an amicable resolution, we offered you a discount on this extra window even though it is a high-grade triple pane energy efficient window, because we wanted a positive resolution. Unfortunately, we could not come to an agreement with you.
You mentioned that we are refusing to return your downpayment, this is not entirely true, every agreement stipulates that services already rendered up to the time of cancellation request are due to be charged as per the fee schedule outlined within the agreement. This is due to the fact that labour and resources come with costs, by the time you decided to cancel the agreement, the agreement was approved for financing, registered with the manufacturer for warranty, and measured for production.
We truly would like to keep you as our client, and are still in search of a mutually amicable resolution with regard to this matter. We are also prepared to refund the difference between the applicable charges and the payment you made. Alternatively, we are still offering you a sizeable discount on the additional window, we would much prefer to keep your business.
