I called about my air conditioner not working and had the best trouble shooting ideas from Kim who answered my call. She was courteous and kind and most helpful. When nothing we did worked, she sent out Don who fixed my problem in 5 minutes. Im so happy with their service in this heat.

In Sept 2017 a Service Tech assessed that our Air Exchanger needed to be replaced as the parts were no longer available. He said that someone from Sales in the office would give us a quote for a new unit. We never heard back even after we followed up with a phone call.
Finally in Feb 2018 ( 4-1/2 months later) we received an invoice for the service call in the mail. Seems like this lack of interest to respond or follow-up has been mentioned on several on-line reviews. Needless to say we ended up going with another company.

I recently had my HVAC system replaced and upgraded by Reitzel Heating and Air Conditioning. I had done my research and gathered quotes from three local contractors. Reitzel's price was the lowest and installation plan was the most thorough. It was a no-brainer for me to go with them.

The installation proceeded within days of accepting their quote, we did not have to wait for several weeks as we would have had to with the other contractors. Their installers, Ryan and Sean, were extremely polite and did excellent work. Ryan took his time, explained what they had done at the end of the day, and finished the project on-time and within budget.

The system we had installed is relatively complex, it has multiple zones and required a decent amount of new ducting. Reitzel's system performs above our expectations and they added an additional zone at no extra cost!

We have lived in Canada, particularly the Waterloo, area for about two years. During this time we have had major renovations done to our house. Our experience with Reitzel has been, by far, the best to date.

I am not one to exaggerate, if you need a new furnace and/or AC unit, give them a call and ask for Chris Reitzel.

Buying my 1st house in July proved to be a bit more daunting that i had anticipated.....mainly because my furnace required replacement. After recieving quotes from Reitzel (who had serviced the house with the previous owner for 20 years), Delta and Aire One I chose Reitzel for the price ($700 lower than Delta and $500 lower than Aire One) and for the fact that they had been familiar with the house. While the installation went well and the install staff were efficient and well mannered, I was not impressed with the lack of effort made by the salesman as he did not register my furnace for 3 months (after pestering him about my $400 carrier rebate and $150 rebate from the Ontario Government). The motor also seized a month into use and it had to be replaced (under warranty). The salesman proceeded to tell me that there was a static pressure buildup due to the older return ducting not being sufficient for the system. He wanted $300 to install an additional return duct run, so I argued that this should have been contemplated in the original estimate and that they should throw it in as a gesture of good customer service. We split the difference and the new duct run is being installed shortly. While I am impressed with the products and maintenance staff I am not impressed with the sales staff. In hindsight I should have gone with Delta as I have heard nothing but good things about them.
