Appliance Repair

UPDATE Jan/15 Well if you can believe Fridge still not repaired, other items have been fixed. Over 20 service calls and they can't figure it out. Last guy figured maybe they should talk to Electrolux to get some help, about time, Fridge has been leaking since new. This is now over 1 1/2 years to get this fixed??
UPDATE Aug/14 Still have not repaired!
As of this writing November 21st Still waiting on service for appliances first called in on August 7th, 2013. My 2 high end Electrolux Appliances plus Kitchenaid D/W all needed service (less than 2 years old). 1st Called August 7th, couldn't come out until 10 days later. Guy walks in spends 2 minutes, says he has to order parts and would get back to me. Called Mid September when no follow up, they checked & saw service call on their system but nothing had been done about it. Sent someone again end of September who was suppose to be coming with the parts, but when he got here, wrong parts. Dishwasher not working at all, $8000 Fridge leaking, ice maker not working plus 1 other issue. Double wall over has known design flaw that does not allow it to clean properly. Finally October 26th got part for Dishwasher but nothing else. Multiple phone calls to service Keep giving me different dates and as of last call now claim that parts are due in December sometime as have to come from the US and they don't expediate part requests. They can't get them for over 4 months??? Oh and the Wall Oven they will not do anything about, not their problem even though known issue.

Water on Demand Tankless

Two months ago we got a Navien tankless hot water unit installed in our home. I was impressed how efficient the emloyees were. They had to cut wholes in my ceiling in certian areas but cover it up with a door hatch cover. You could patch it up but did choose areas that were not seen. Thank you sears I will be using and recommending you to others family and friends. The hot water on demand works like a charm !!

furnace cleaning and repair

Sears offered a free furnace inspection, which turned into costly repairs. They had to replace the heat exchanger and the price was much higher than we felt it should be.
We would be very reluctant to use them again.

Navien Water Tank

Waterless water tanks buy from Sears. We did alot of research and can only say Sears backs up what they sell. THe installation process when smoothly and they did what they say they would when installing and cutting walls to install the tankless water heater. I truely believe you pay for what you get. THey might be slightly more but its worth it as it was done correctly and no hidden cost.

furnace cleaning and inspection

they arrived on time (10 minutes early actually). Were very fast, and very thorough. They showed me what my filter looked like, and how to replace it, and recommended one that would work best with my furnace. He showed me all the parts and helped me understand how my furnace works and why i should maintain it. Very friendly, very professional.

Furnace

Helpful service technician who explained the repairs required to me. He was refreshingly honest and replaced the motor without replacing the whole furnace which I couldn't afford. Being able to charge the emergency expenses also helped.

18.1 cu ft refridgerator -

I bought this as a second fridge for the basement. I took advantage of the BC Hydro dispose your old fridge program. Not only do they take away your old fridge, but also give you $30 for doing so, hoping you would buy a more efficient unit. Sears was also having an energy star program, so I save another $30 by buying one with a energy star rating. The price was right after all the discounts. It was a good deal.

cleaned out my heat registers

Sears came to vacuum each and every heat register with this big powerful vacuum in their van. Then they drill holes into the ducts at the furnace and cleaned those out as well, then he vacuum out the entire internals of the furnace. I was very satisfied with service and would use them again.
