Two wood burning fireplaces replaced with gas fireplaces, plus excellent stone work and barn beams. The guys were easy to talk too and did a great job. Another big benefit is they did everything, start to finish. We are very happy.

The Fireplace Depot on Queensway may not look like much from the outside but it has two strengths. Product selection and Riz. The latter is the proprietor with an infectious enthusiasm and extraordinary product knowledge. Its no act, this guy genuinely likes what he does and it shows in his work ethic and demeanor. Go see Riz, he'll educate you and look after you fair and square.

I wanted a gas fireplace but most places just put in the insert and you have to find someone else to put in the stone and mantle. Fireplace Depot checked out my living room, wrote up an estimate, helped me pick out not only the right gas fireplace but helped me choose the stone and mantle. They put it all in beautifully and before Christmas too--it was so beautiful I actually cried when I saw it. I would strongly recommend Fireplace Depot and thank you to Riz, Jasz and Davean--what a great team!

We shopped around with many fireplace installation companies to have this job completed - and were unsuccessful in finding anyone as professional, fair and knowledgeable as Riz and his team. Great people, great customer service and great advice, easy to deal with, polite and courteous. When my 30-something year old gas fireplace went belly up, I was given options and recommendations by the Fireplace Depot. Dealing with them was easy, the installation went flawlessly. Great crew. We also did maintenance on the second fireplace and it now looks and works better than when it was brand new, day one! Thanks guys!

When I went into the showroom Riz was very knowledgeable. I had my gas fireplace installed in June, last year, while doing other livingroom renos. When I turned it on in September it didn't light up all the way and the remote didn't work. When I went into the showroom and talked to Riz he offered a service call but would charge me $150!! Needing to fix the problem I agreed. It's been 3 days now and I still haven't heard from him. My husband went back to the showroom and spoke to Ruiz directly as well. Since then, I've called several times with a promise of a dame day set up for a service call. When I called another fireplace store the person on the other end of the phone told me that FPD has a reputation in the business for being really bad at after sales service. I wish I had known before I bought. Stuck with a non-functioning, brand new fireplace that cost me $5,000!!!!

Riz is awesome, he is very kind and helpful with everything he did, Riz is like the greatest thing to ever walk the face of this Earth, I never thought I would have a fireplace in my house, but Riz did it and I'm happy

First at the store, it was suggested that we book an appointment to have the manager come to our home to do measurements. Riz came out to my house to do an initial site inspection and quote. We wanted to convert our wood burning fireplace in our basement into gas with and insert. Riz was very professional and had great recommendations and was able to stay withing our budget. The install took a couple days longer than usual due to some minor complications, we have a cedar shake roof which can not be walked on, but the guys took great care in completing the job. The 2 guys that did the install were professional, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! (Thanks Gursh & Jefan). They even took the time to do an excellent clean up, as to not leave me with anything. I also appreciate the great customer service they give with a "same day follow-up call" to make sure all is well after install! I would like to add, that this is the 2nd gas fireplace purchase and install for us over 8 years with The Fireplace Depot. Thanks again for the great customer service and satisfaction!
