I have used Blueline Moving 3 times in the last 6 years. The first two times, they were great. I got 3 hardworking men that all wrapped my furniture, all moved the furniture out of one place and all 3 moved furniture in the new place. On Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, I hired Blueline again. I was told I was getting 3 men. Tom worked hard wrapping my furniture and getting it ready for the truck. Dave was pleasant, he walked back and forth but only saw him about every 15 minutes. Brian had me sign the contract at the beginning and then I saw him at the end to take my payment. Last two times I had a lot of furniture. This time I moved into a 1 bedroom condo, I had to get rid of a lot of furniture and things. I moved all my boxes myself and cleared the locker so they didn't have to do it. The last two times they took around 5 hours and charged me between $560 - $640. This time I thought that it shouldn't take more than 4 hours since I only had a bedroom suite, a dining room hutch, table and 8 chairs, 3 piece sofa set and 3 coffee tables, approx 10 - 15 boxes, some pictures and desk and chair. All the furniture was taken apart and ready to go. At the end Brian told me it took them 7 hours plus 1 hour travel time total cost $1,039. I called Bob that night and told him that it shouldn't have taken them 7 hours. I had half the furniture but I paid twice the amount since the last two times. I asked Bob to call me back. He didn't. I called him Saturday again and he said that the walk from the condo to the elevator was a long walk. I walked it and it took one minute from door to elevator. I told Bob that my black lacquered coffee table was cracked, the armoire has a three drawers insert which when they brought it in was destroyed. Tom even asked me if it was supposed to look that way. I had put all the nuts and bolts in a bag in the drawers and they went missing. Also, I had a bag of nuts and bolts for my dining room taped to the table and they went missing. Bob said he will call me right back. He didn't. I even told Bob that the last two times, the guys made me do a walk around the truck at the end to ensure all the furniture was out, this time, they didn't ask me, therefore I don't know if the two bag of bolts were still in the truck when they dropped the furniture.I can't put together my dining room or my armoire in the bedroom.
A piece of advise for widows or those living alone, please don't use Blueline unless you can have someone walking back and forth and watching where the time goes. Also, you don't get 3 men working at the same time anymore, you only get 1.5 men. Don't use them if you have a 3 bedroom home, because it will cause you a fortune. I'm so diappointed and won't be using Blueline again and will not be recommending them anymore. Also, don't expect an apology from Bob, he won't even call you back.
