“Steve and Brandon just left, having spent the last one and one half days installing the door and windows. The bay window looks great, so the modifications you made to the standard window worked out well. Steve was great to work with, and I was very satisfied with the quality of his work and his attention to detail. Brandon even cleaned the new window and door glass. All in all, so far it looks like Durabuilt has exceeded my expectations!” Thanks to the Durabuilt Team for the great service!

“The service staff were very courteous, professional and they answered all our questions. The service technician ensured the area was safe before doing the work and cleaned the area when he was finished.. Our overall experience was excellent.”

window warrenty service

Had to write a follow up review. Called Durabuilt with a warranty issue 15 months after installation of our new windows and patio door. The patio door had mold along the bottom and sides. I was gearing up for battle....but they were amazing. The came out within 2 weeks, clean the mold all off, adjusted the door and but a new seal and weather stripping all around it. Their final words to me as they left..."Don't hesitate to call if there are any more issues, you have lots of time left on your warranty." Wow. Need I say more. Highly recommend. Very satisfied all around. Great product. Great service.

I liked working with Durabuilt, their staff were professional and always contacted me. We had some rounded windows on our feature wall and the staff communicated with me and my
carpenters to make sure they fitted perfectly. I would definitely recommend Durabuilt.

When my son was pricing windows for his addition and renovation, we found Durabuilt to be very competitive. After we ordered, received, and installed the windows he had ordered, it was a slam-dunk on who I'd order our windows from. It only makes sense - we had a good experience - why would we go with anyone else. We've changed 2 kitchen and 1 large living room window so far - hope to change the rest of the house as time permits before winter.

It was our pleasure working with Jason. After a major house renovation, we decided new doors and windows were in order. Jason made it truly easy and expedient to accomplish this. The installer he recommended was on time, conscientious, and aware of all our needs. I would strongly recommend Durabuilt. Our new doors and windows have updated our house and added to curb appeal without breaking the bank.

Company provides quality products at a quality price. The staff assist in determining the pros and cons of various levels of windows and doors and were excellent at communication from quoting, manufacturing and delivery. Definitely will consider them again for my next project.

Complete window and door replacement

There have been so many problems with this company and their representatives that I don't know where to begin.

The company did not honour their word or commitment in the product or service they were to provide. It has taken well over a year and it is still ongoing.

The salesman Trevor mislead to us from the beginning which ended up costing us an additional $1700.00 plus.

The install date was delayed causing us to loose our siding company which was scheduled to follow the original window and door installation.

They installed used or damaged products and passed them off as new products. New products would not come from the factor and be installed in your home with damages (not warrantable defect but damages). I did not agree to purchase used, seconds or damaged products from this company. I was purchasing new unused and undamaged product. This is not what I received.

I held back over $6000.00 from them because the job is not yet completed but they opted to bring in their lawyers to threaten legal actions against me instead of completing the job. I finally paid them to avoid the extensive cost of having to get my own lawyer because their pockets are much deeper than mine and lawyers could drag this out much longer than I could afford. It could possibly be cheaper for me to have some their products replaced with new products from another supplier than what the lawyers could potentially cost.

The install manager Jaideep has said that they will come in and inspect the windows and doors, now that I have paid the hold back, but only repair what they feel is warrantable repairs.

They have installed used or damaged products into my home and I am waiting to see what they have to say after the visit.

After the install was done and I told them that I was not happy with the product the install manager Jaideep came to do a quality control visit and he told my wife to repair scratches in the window casings herself. This is not even a warranty issue in my opinion but what is the point of having warranty if they do not honour it and do the work themselves, rather they tell the customer to do their own repairs. They didn't even offer to show how to do the repairs, they must think that my wife is a professional in their business.

I was not in town at the time so I was only able to speak with him on the phone. I told him that there was a damaged door assembly, but told me that the damaged door assembly which they installed was not damaged because he could not see the damage. The damage had been covered up with tin.

I explained to him that the door casing was damaged prior to installing it and that I told the installer that I would not accept it and he was not to install it. I wanted a new door assembly or that door assembly repaired properly and he said that they would take care of it, meaning that they would repair or replace it. Instead they installed the damaged door assembly and hid the damages by covering it up with tin. I was not advised that they were going to install tin to hide the damages and I did not ask for the tin and I certainly did not agree to have it installed over the casing and brick molding.

Unfortunately I did not do enough research on this company before choosing them for this project because since the project and all of the problem, my wife and I have spoke with numerous people who have had nothing good to say about them.

There are other issues with this company, their employees and the product. The biggest problem seems to be in the fact that there is absolutely no customer service and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. They may be one of the "best managed companies" but they certainly are not one of the best for customer service.

When I went in to make the payment on the hold back, Jaideep told me that he deals with hundreds of people like me in a year. Now I can certainly see why he would say that, if this company and it's representatives treat hundreds of it clients like this and offers this level of service and product, he certainly would have hundreds of dissatisfied customers.

Jaideep also told me that he was well aware that I still owed my siding contractor money and was not paying them either. He said that he was aware of this because the renovation world is a small group and they all talk and that my siding contractor told him directly. I asked him to tell me who told him that and what the name of the siding company but he was unable to tell me who the contractor was and would not provide a name of the person who allegedly told him this. Well Jaideep I asked you in your office and I am asking you again are you a coward unwilling to tell me the name or are you making false accusations about this??? I am guessing that you are being untruthful because I can honestly say that I DO NOT owe any person or company any money for any work or products or services and I have paid for all services upon completion. The only company that I owed any money to was Durabuilt and I openly told anybody that I was holding funds back because the job was not and is not completed. I did not agree to purchase used or damaged good from Durabuilt but that is what you supplied.

The only reason that I mention the last part of this review is to provide readers/researchers a view of the type of person(s) that you will be dealing with if you choose to deal with this company.

Keep in mind that this is only my opinion from my own person experiences with Durabuilt and it's employees.

I will try and submit pictures but have not been able to so far.
